The Exercise Book offers exercises to consolidate grammar, vocabulary, and expressive means. Each chapter includes additional vocabulary review from level A, grammar exercises where students discover the rule on their own, systematic practice of written discourse, and targeted practice of correct pronunciation. The corresponding audio material is found on the audio CDs of the teaching series. However, there is also the possibility to download it for free.

At the end of each chapter, there is a self-assessment test with exercises to review the material.

The basic vocabulary of all chapters as well as the material concerning the paired exercises in the student's book is located at the end of the Exercise Book.
