The book Take Off! B1 consists of 12 chapters. Each chapter focuses on a specific theme and is divided into the following sections:

• Lead-in: cross-curricular activities (diagrams, photos, maps, quizzes, sketches, etc.) introduce the topic and prepare the student for the upcoming chapter.
• Reading: a variety of texts (articles, advertisements, blogs, websites, etc.) and reading comprehension tasks that help students understand the text and additionally give them the opportunity to delve deeper through discussion.
• Vocabulary: vocabulary exercises based on the chapter texts, as well as additional exercises aimed at expanding students' vocabulary.
• Grammar: various types of grammar exercises aimed at understanding and practicing the grammatical phenomena of the level. Combined with the Grammar Appendix, students learn through a step-by-step process how to correctly use English grammar.
• Skills: Students develop and practice listening and speaking skills through activities from the perspective of everyday experience. The Speaking Help box, located on the same page, contains words and expressions necessary for oral production. The Speaking appendix, located at the end of the book, contains additional material necessary for completing the Speaking activities, as well as material that students can use when working in pairs. For writing production (Writing), students practice through different types of activities that emphasize the entire writing process (understanding the topic, creating an outline, writing production). The Writing Help box boosts the student's confidence by providing the necessary words and expressions.
• Round-up: students complete the chapter with a fun quiz that encourages them to review the chapter and ensure what they have learned. Combined with the self-assessment chart that follows, students enhance their autonomy in the learning process.
• Revision: revision exercises in vocabulary and grammar that help the student identify and address their gaps.

The Coursebook also contains:

• True stories of young people who played a significant role in their environment.
• Six cross-curricular projects that encourage the student to use the English they have learned by participating in interesting and creative activities.
• A comprehensive Wordlist that contains the words of the Coursebook in alphabetical order, the part of speech, the chapter number where each word appears, the pronunciation of the word with phonetics, and a definition in English.
