Excited! First of all, I should note that I have been using breast pumps for 2.5 years with some breaks. I have used both hospital-grade and manual pumps. My previous one was the double pump from a big brand that I had bought for 200 euros and I had to change it due to prolonged use.
Positives:
- First of all, the quality of the plastics, the soft funnel, the extra spare valves, the caps for the funnels, the two nipples for conversion to a bottle, and the screen of the breast pump are impressive.
- Many settings in both modes (massage and pumping), timer.
- The battery is a big plus (I charge it and do 5-6 10-minute pumping sessions).
- The pumping efficiency is as good as, if not better than, my previous one from the big brand and it is also quite to very quiet!
The only negatives I could point out are the sensitive buttons (it can indeed be activated by accidental touch) and maybe I would have liked it to be a bit more portable in terms of shape since it has all the features for on-the-go use. It would also be nice if it had caps for the bottles, since it already has the nipples.
In conclusion, I wouldn't buy another one if I knew this one existed!! The ultimate value for money!!
P.S.: I want to clarify that every mom has her own experience with breast pumps. I know moms who exclusively breastfed their babies just fine, but couldn't pump even 10ml with the breast pump. Just like the breast learns the baby, it also learns the breast pump. With patience and regular pumping. Don't exhaust your breasts for too long when you see that no more milk is coming out. Take a break and try again 30-60 minutes later. Competitive greetings to all the moms!
It didn't work for me, it hurts and it's not effective, when I press my chest with my hand, much more milk comes out.
I used it 7-8 times a day for months and sterilized it every time. Absolutely nothing happened. It helped me to have production when my baby was not near me and to manage to breastfeed exclusively after months. In the hospital, Ardo helped me. I personally did not see any difference. I definitely recommend it.
I bought it for 1-2 pumps per day to increase production. It did its job properly, I am satisfied. If someone wants to exclusively pump, this particular one will not be suitable, they need a hospital-grade pump.
It was the most useless purchase we made after giving birth! Even though you have milk, it doesn't come out on its own, I had to apply pressure on my chest for it to come out and still it didn't come out! Plus, it had charging issues, it wouldn't charge! A thousand times hospital-grade!
I received it as a gift, it is relatively effective when the battery is fully charged. It is also unacceptable that there are no available spare parts for the inner tubes, which wear out relatively quickly (I use it moderately), resulting in them not being as efficient. Despite having a high milk production, it didn't extract more than 15 ml of milk from my breast. If I manually express it myself, I can get more milk than with the "breast pump".

It is a good purchase if you do not need it for everyday repetitive systematic use!! If, for example, you have just given birth and for some reason you cannot breastfeed your baby directly (e.g. baby in the NICU), then it will not help you.... You definitely need a hospital-grade breast pump in that case!!! However, when you are in the phase of breastfeeding the baby and need to do a few pumping sessions or have returned to work and do not want to miss a pumping session, then it is great!
It worked well throughout the breastfeeding period when pumping was needed. It is relatively fast, quiet, and doesn't hurt if used correctly!
It is not silent, but I didn't expect it to be. I am very satisfied for its price. I was able to increase my production with it in combination with breastfeeding. A chubby baby approves
Super machine! It does effective pumping in very little time. I use it after breastfeeding, so theoretically the breast is empty, but still I manage to get 45ml so that I can make portions to give my own milk as a supplement to the baby.

It has the smallest size of a nipple. If it is smaller than it should be, you can't do anything with it! No matter how much you massage!
As a machine, it is very good, however, because the cups have a standard size, they are not suitable for a large chest. Personally, I had to constantly open and close it in order to achieve a good fit and avoid leaks, always fearing that the tissues would be injured. Unfortunately, the whole process was exhausting and time-consuming for me, so I used it very little.
As another user of the product mentioned, I also truly wonder about the positive reviews. Of course, I am conveying my wife's personal experience with it (she just doesn't speak or write Greek, so I am relaying her words). Let's start from the beginning.
Obviously, a mother with sufficient milk production may not encounter any problems. However, mothers with lower milk production will definitely have a big issue. The biggest drawback of the device that leads to this "problem" is its weakness. The device is too weak to be called a "breast pump". It doesn't need to be compared to hospital-grade pumps that cost three thousand euros, of course. It is evident from its use. So, for those with low milk production, you will curse the hour and moment and struggle to get only 10-15ml out. If you have twins, just forget about it. You will end up breaking the device yourself because you will simply be wasting your time with zero results.
Clearly, it is not worth a single euro and indeed, as the other lady mentioned, it is the worst purchase we made.
I was using a single pump from nuk and I bought this double one to pump in half the time. It turned out to be the best purchase as I really finished faster and it is almost silent. Easy to use and charges quickly. I highly recommend it
It is indeed good, but some internal components (2 silicone valves) wear out very quickly, resulting in a loss of suction power, causing the pumping time to gradually increase in order to empty the breast. I have even reached 2 hours for both breasts. I bought a second one because of the price, and after using the first one, it lasted me for a month with the same valves. It comes with spare parts in the packaging, and I used them for another month before replacing them. If I had known this from the beginning, I would have preferred another brand. If you want to pump for more than 6 months, it's not worth it. Otherwise, with 2 breast pumps, you can get the job done in 6 months and it's cheaper than buying the expensive one.
Perfect! The first few days I was producing very little, but it wasn't the fault of the breast pump. It was just a matter of getting used to it. Expensive ones can't compare!
It is not as effective in terms of pumping frequency and power as a machine. This can lead to milk accumulation and consequently a health problem in the breasts, which happened in my case.
To achieve a satisfactory amount of milk, it takes 45-60 minutes each time, which cumulatively leads to many lost hours in the day and causes fatigue.
It has many components for sterilization and assembly.
Lastly, it does not fit properly on the breast. The suction is not as effective because it is quite wide.
I replaced it with a breast pump from a well-known company, in which the pumping frequency is higher and the suction fits better on the breast. I manage to express more milk in 15 minutes than I did with the current breast pump in 1 hour. Also, there are fewer components and assembly is very quick.
In conclusion, the Cangaroo Elegance is a good choice in terms of cost, but its effectiveness is quite below average.
The worst purchase! Supposedly, I did my research! I read the reviews regarding the price! I wonder how all those who write positive comments actually managed to get even a drop out of it? I kept reading the instructions over and over again where it says in black letters, if you can't pump again, try another time! No matter how many times I tried, there was no action from this machine except for noise. You have more hope with your hand! Money wasted!!
Excellent breast pump..very good for its price..it has nothing to envy from other companies that are more expensive..it hasn't hurt my nipples. Its battery lasts for about 5 sessions of around 30 minutes each, then it needs to be charged again..of course, I don't use it often, only in case I'm away from home just to have my own milk for the baby. However, I consider that it's worth its price and that it won't give me any problems as a device..all the parts are sterilized. I highly recommend it without hesitation!!

Very good breast pump. It empties the breast quickly, doesn't hurt, and doesn't injure the breast. Its plastic parts are not of such poor quality. I use it for exclusive pumping and it has been convenient for me. Before, I used a well-known hospital-grade pump for 5 months, but this one has suited me better. It would be even better if it had a longer cord and a larger bottle capacity (it has 130ml bottles).
For the money, it is very very good, fast, efficient, lightweight. It is very convenient that it operates on battery and in terms of noise, it is okay, not too loud!
The previous breast pump I had, which I basically compare it to, was from a well-known company, one of the top two in the breastfeeding industry. And of course, I was satisfied with it, but the motor had a limited lifespan, so for my second child, I had to get a new one. I didn't believe that with half the price or even less, I could find such good results. At least until now. It doesn't hurt, it's efficient, and quiet. It does the job perfectly, so I recommend it.
I bought it as soon as I gave birth to exclusively feed my baby with my own milk, even if I had to be away. In the end, this was not possible... The valves broke quickly without any particular use. It has four valves and I am left with only one... But the most disappointing thing is that now that my baby is five months old and I want to pump milk to build up a supply, the breast pump completely broke. It worked somewhat, although it couldn't fully empty my breasts. From the beginning, the frequency didn't work, it was stuck on three, but I noticed it late and it didn't bother me that much. The plastic bottles are of good quality. The nipples that it comes with are not reliable, they leak a lot and have small leaks. The pumping was comfortable. The user manual is not very informative. Unfortunately, you have to buy it to learn that it is not particularly efficient for first-time mothers, at least that's what it says in the manual. The battery was quite efficient as long as it lasted, and the fact that it was completely portable was one of its biggest advantages. It didn't make any noise. I do not recommend it for frequent use. It's better to spend a little more and get something better. Anyway, I will give it away again.
To begin with, I should clarify that I have not used any other electric breast pump, so I have no point of comparison. However, I am so satisfied that I cannot understand what more the branded/hospital-grade ones offer to justify their multiple costs.
POSITIVES:
- It does the job very quickly. In less than 10 minutes, the breast is emptied. I don't mention the ml because every mother has different production, depending on her body and the needs/age of her baby. The criterion is for the breast to empty and for the baby to be satisfied.
- It doesn't hurt. I use it at level 10 (maximum 15). At one point, I had a clogged duct and breastfeeding didn't solve the problem: I put the pump at level 15 and the duct cleared after 12 minutes and a massage on the hard spot. Even in this uncomfortable situation, the pain from pumping was almost nonexistent.
- It is relatively quiet, sounding like a vibrating mobile phone. The noise is reduced if you place the base on a soft surface.
- It is easy to assemble and clean, having the standard parts for washing that all electric breast pumps have. Additionally, the packaging includes an extra pair of valves and two nipples to convert it into a bottle.
- I tried power pumping, and the pump didn't have any issues running for that long and produced more milk than expected.
- It can be used either single or double.
- The material of the soft cushions is silicone and it sticks to the breast. The pumps can be half-supported in place with a regular bra, allowing you to free your hands and adjust the settings on the base. For more support, you will need a special bra with holes or a DIY one with an old bra.
- Generally, I use it with electricity. However, for testing purposes, I used it once with the battery, and I didn't notice any change in performance (of course, the battery is still new).
NEGATIVES:
- The company does not sell replacement parts separately, and from what I read about breast pumps in general, the valves need replacement. If I find a compatible one, I will inform you.
- The design is a bit strange: since it also works with batteries, the design should facilitate its transport. Personally, it doesn't bother me because I have it in a fixed place with electricity.
* I was given a branded manual breast pump, which I used for the first 3-4 weeks, but once I confirmed that I had milk, I searched to buy an electric one: although it emptied the breast, it was incredibly time-consuming and exhausting. If there is no such financial constraint that even this particular Cangaroo electric pump is prohibitive, I would generally recommend not considering a manual one.
It's worth the money and more. Personally, it produces a greater quantity than the well-known hospital one. It applies very well and doesn't hurt in the chest
Having tried the hospital-grade Medela and the mini electric, I have to say that this is the best if you don't want to pay for the hospital-grade one. It has 2 phases with massage, double for time-saving, has a timer, is rechargeable and quiet, many intensity options, and cushions on the breasts so it doesn't hurt. It's worth its money and more. I don't know if it has any warranty (that would be the only negative if it doesn't)

The shape of the electronic device is uncomfortable as it is round and slips when we hold it to move it, and the power button is very sensitive and easily pressed almost every time we pick it up to move it.
It is important that it has a rechargeable battery and does not need to be constantly plugged in.
Otherwise, it is excellent. It does its job and for now, it is worth its money.
I am in a phase of relactation... for now, I don't see any light... maybe, however, it's not the product's fault... I give it 3 stars for now... and that's because of the strength of the breast pump... it's not so powerful... I will return with a new evaluation!!
