The product was purchased 2 years ago at a price of 109 euros.
Minimal use. It was used at most 15 times. After about a year and a half, the charger showed no signs of battery charging.
At the beginning of October, the tool was returned to the company Strigos from where it was purchased, as the two-year warranty was still valid. (Attention *** Two-year warranty for amateur use only and one-year warranty for professional use)
After the product was sent to the importer NIKOLAOU S.A., it was returned with a diagnosis of battery damage, which according to the importer and the reseller, is not covered by the two-year warranty but by a three-month warranty. The company has kindly extended it to six months.
All of this is not mentioned anywhere in any of the tool's documents. There is no separate warranty for the battery at least in the company's manuals, nor was I informed, if such a thing is indeed valid, at the time of purchase.
The cost of the battery is approximately 45 euros.
I informed the official representative by email, attaching all relevant documents, but I did not receive any response.
In conclusion, I suggest choosing companies with a reputable name in the market and avoiding those that have cheap and, as it turns out, poor quality and performance tools.
A complaint will also be filed with the consumer advocate.
