The "Current Discourse" series aims to contribute creatively to the efforts of high school students to meet the specific requirements of the Modern Greek Language course, as well as the nationwide exams. The content of the series consists of a thorough examination and analysis of "current" topics that concern contemporary reality and engage every thinking person throughout time.

The "Current Discourse" deals with all the topics included in the school books of the Expression-Composition of the three classes of high school.

Each thematic unit of the series' books includes:

- Analytical thematic approach to the concept/phenomenon addressed by the unit.

- Proposed thematic extensions.

- Interpretation of key words, terms, phrases related to the respective thematic field.

- Opinions, ideas, thoughts of various prominent individuals.

- Texts for practice, from various sources, accompanied by exercises of various types.

- Relevant topic of nationwide exams that have been given in the past.

- Additional texts for study and self-study.

- Proposed topics for written discourse production.

- Evaluation criteria of nationwide exams type.
