The "Current Discourse" series aims to contribute creatively to the efforts of high school students to meet the specific demands of the Modern Greek Language course, as well as the nationwide exams. The content of the series consists of a thorough examination and analysis of "current" topics that concern contemporary reality and engage any thinking individual.

The "Current Discourse" addresses all the topics included in the school books of the Expression-Composition course for the three grades of high school.

Each thematic unit of the series' books includes:

- Analytical thematic approach to the concept/phenomenon addressed by the unit.

- Interpretation of key words, terms, phrases related to the respective thematic field.
