The white wine of the Ktima Karadimou label is dry, aromatic with notes of white flowers (jasmine, citrus blossoms), ripe stone fruits (peach, apricot), and citrus (lime, grapefruit, lemon). Malagousia, besides its intense aromatic character, also has a very distinctive oily texture. This makes it ideal to pair with tender mollusks such as cuttlefish and squid, grilled or sautéed (to maintain their buttery texture and to blend with that of Malagousia). If you add some aromatic sauce based on citrus and herbs to the dish, it will be an ideal combination. On the other hand, it can pleasantly accompany green salads and pasta with light vegetable sauces or pesto.
