Nava Fillet Knife of Stainless Steel 20cm 10-058-046Code: 15018903

The knife fillet by Nava with a blade length of 20cm, has a thin and flexible blade, a blade that moves comfortably along the backbone in soft meat or fish, making it easy and quick to separate the bones from the flesh. Filleting delicate fish pieces and preparing sashimi is easier with such a knife. It is made of stainless steel, a popular material for knives, it is particularly durable and does not corrode. It is a combination of carbon and iron as a base, and chromium is added to repel stains and give the blade a glossy finish.

Like all cheap tools, here we have a product that requires some work to be able to be used. It is necessary to file and/or sand the edges, apart from the blade, so that they are not sharp and do not lead to injuries. Since we are using sandpaper, it is good to also sand the wooden handle so that it becomes smooth and no splinters protrude. Finally, apply a little olive oil for protection against oxidation and nourishment of the wood. It could do without these awful rivets, but they are proper little tricks. It is definitely not a good knife, but for its price and with the above modifications, it can be transformed into a useful tool before you get something better.
