Description

Cooktops that adapt to your cookware

With the flexInduction Plus function, the flexible cooking zones automatically extend in two directions so you can heat large cookware with a diameter of up to 30 centimeters. If one zone is not large enough to heat the cookware, the cooktop takes control and activates more induction coils for even heating of the cookware. Additionally, you can even use teppanyaki or grilling plates with a length of up to 40 centimeters.

Touch and slide for absolute control

The beautiful and user-friendly Dual light slider control makes it easy for you to select the cooking zone you want on each side of your cooktop. Simply touch and slide to control your cooktop. When the cooktop is turned off, the control is not even visible, resulting in the surface appearing as just a sleek black glass surface.

The Home Connect app (Android and iOS) provides you with information about your cooktop, wherever you are

The world of technological innovation is constantly evolving. Step by step, more devices are becoming more connected and smarter. With Siemens home appliances featuring Wi-Fi and Home Connect, this evolution finally enters your home. The collaboration of Wi-Fi-enabled devices, smart software, and the user-friendly app offers a wide range of options. While some make household chores easier and some open entirely new paths for you, all of them make everyday life as efficient and comfortable as ever. And you can spend more time on the things you want. For a life less boring.

Ultimate control in frying

The frying sensor fryingSensor Plus ensures that each of your crepes will achieve that wonderfully delicious golden color. It notifies you when the pan reaches the desired temperature, and then maintains it at a constant level while you cook. This way, you can be absolutely sure that your food will turn out just as you imagined, with no risk of burning.

With flexMotion, you can move your induction cookware freely across the entire cooktop surface without losing the heat settings you previously selected

The flexMotion function remembers the heat settings you have chosen, allowing you to freely move your induction cookware across the entire surface of the cooktop. The temperature automatically adjusts to the new cooking zone where you place your cookware, so you can continue cooking without interruption. Spend less time puzzling over cooktop settings and more time enjoying delightful cooking.

More power when you need it

Use the powerBoost function to increase the power of an induction zone by up to 50%. This way, you can save up to 35% of the time you usually need to heat cookware. Less waiting time and more available time for testing and serving your favorite dishes.

Timer with automatic shut-off function

The timer with automatic shut-off function turns off the cooking zone as soon as the selected cooking time has elapsed.

Independent operation

Its operation is independent, meaning it can function on its own without the need for connection to an oven. This means it can be placed anywhere in the kitchen that suits you best. It is suitable for combination with an above-counter oven, as the oven can be placed anywhere, regardless of the cooktop.

Key lock function

It also features child safety lock, which ensures that the cooktop will not be accidentally activated. By pressing the lock button, all functions are disconnected and any cooktop can be quickly and easily secured. The cooktop can be unlocked by pressing the button again for a few seconds.

Induction Cooktop Features

In induction cooktops, the cooking surface heats only under the cookware, using less than half the energy compared to standard cooktops. Cooking on an induction cooktop provides faster heating, improved thermal efficiency, and more precise control. Compared to conventional electric cooktops, induction cooktops can even halve the cooking time while consuming significantly less energy.

Induction cooktops are known for their extremely easy cleaning, as they only require a wipe with a damp cloth. Since only the cookware heats up, any spills on the cooktop surface do not burn.

Visually, the induction cooktop looks very similar to the ceramic one, but it uses electromagnetism instead of electricity. For this reason, special cookware with a magnetic base is required.

First positive impression, in the boost position, in 10 seconds it boiled 2 cups of water in the pan that came with the hob and recommended by Siemens. In a large pot with water halfway, it boiled in about 2-2.5 minutes and then maintained a simmer at 6.5 (the highest is 9 and then it's the boost)... The rest will be shown with time...
November 2020, the hobs are the best in cooking time, they are very convenient, in 1 minute at most you can heat oil for fried potatoes, you turn them off, the boiling stops, you open them, they start in seconds, you take the pan off the eye, it turns off, you put it back on, it lights up... So far, I only have 200 kilowatt-hours more in the quarter (previously I had gas hobs!!!) 200*0.077=15.4€ more in electricity, while I used to spend about 15€ on a gas bottle every 4-5 months, almost the same...
Two faults, one time it showed an E and the instructions say to turn off the power, I turned off the circuit breaker, for 30 seconds and it was okay... If it keeps happening continuously, it says to contact the service, but everything is okay... No problem again...
And one time at 9 it barely boiled the water, as if it didn't have much power, I closed the kitchen for 10-20 seconds, not the circuit breaker, just closed it, and then reopened it and everything was okay...
