One of the best tools, I work with it regularly on 4 acres of olive trees, and on many other plots, it is worth it and more. I use Stihl's blue mixed oil, the key is maintenance, regular filter cleaning, greasing the head, and proper engine cleaning. 10 out of 10
I bought this particular model a month ago (May 2022) mainly because of the excellent reviews I read on Skroutz and because it would be Daewoo. However, I would like to note the following:
1 - anyone who thinks they are buying a Daewoo is greatly mistaken, as the machine is manufactured in China under a license from Daewoo, which is not necessarily a bad thing (but it is not Korean).
2- the overall construction is far from what we call sturdy, its plastics are very "plastic" and have nothing to do with the plastics of other (Japanese or German) companies.
3- the left handle broke the third time I used it and I replaced it with another compatible one (22-inch) from the market since the seller did not have any in stock.
4- in this particular model, the on-off switch is right below the thumb of the right hand, and many times you accidentally press it, causing the machine to turn off.
However, I must tell you that:
1- from the first day, I used it to cut thick olive branches with a 255 40-tooth blade, and it performed exceptionally well under significant strain.
2- despite weighing 8.4 kilograms, you don't feel it when you use it, especially with a good vest like the one from BAX.
3- its start-up is excellent and it accelerates very easily without a second attempt.
In conclusion, I have to say that it is a good Chinese brush cutter, quite powerful, user-friendly, with no particular build quality, and time will tell its durability. That's why I will come back with a proper assessment in due time.
It is a pretty good lawnmower, you can use it without needing breaks, only when it needs fuel. It burns a little more compared to a Chinese one I have. It easily starts up, and on that note, I have to mention the following: To start it and make it work, pull once with the air choke closed, and then put the choke with the air open and pull the cord, it immediately starts up, otherwise, with the choke closed, it gets clogged. Some users write that it emits a lot of exhaust fumes, yes, at the beginning it does, but after the motor settles, it works just fine.
Complete package with safety glasses and fuel mixing container with gradations for quick and easy material addition, iron disc and head for line included with the tools needed for assembly and maintenance.
Star for its value for money.
I have done major cleanings even on cotton with a shredder and with a toothed disc.
I have also worked with a 4-stroke engine and it handles everything effortlessly.
I only stop when the tank is empty for refilling.
I hope it withstands the test of time.
Excellent value for money. A bit heavy, but with the correct adjustment of the suspension, you don't have any major issues. The suspension, however, is perhaps the only drawback - I will buy another one at the first opportunity.
Excellent for its price, very good construction, quite powerful.
Pay attention to the quality and dosage of the oil, of course, and the thread should not exceed 3mm.
Without experience from lawnmowers, I worked it for 3 hours without stopping, only for gasoline without getting tired. Aluminum head with 4-thread nylon and it cut tall grass, various shrubs with continuous hits on stones and wires and it didn't even notice anything, I didn't even change the nylon. I will try it with a disc with many teeth that I saw on YouTube to cut bushes, olive trees because they are about to knock down my fence and I will come back. If it manages to do what I want and breaks, I will buy the same one again. It will pass a tough test.
Excited!!!!!!!!
Guys, for the money I paid (144€), there's no discussion, it's great. I read the comments, bought it, and I have no complaints. As for the construction, it's not something fake. The motor has a nice workmanship and you can work comfortably. The weight is a bit tiring, but if you adjust the dependency, it's great. I have an appreciation for Korean products and of course, it can't be compared in terms of quality to Chinese ones.
Well done to Daewoo, it's worth every last euro you give. It has a sturdy construction and is powerful in cutting. I believe it's the best choice compared to something Chinese. It's worth every penny and more.
It looks very good and it is powerful... It is a cheap and good solution... I preferred it among other Chinese ones even though this one is Korean because it has a very good aluminum stick and a Japanese angle... Buy a better attachment and you will be fine!
