After 1.5 years of owning it, the conclusions are disappointing.
The buttons constantly have issues as if the spring is faulty.
Problems have arisen after the purchase.
Within 3 months, there was a problem with making espresso. It went for service for 2 months because the replacement part was not available, causing a long wait. It finally arrived.
When I received it, I realized that the service had forgotten to put the tube back in for the coffee filter. (In the first repair, there was no issue with the coffee filter, but they removed the tube and forgot to put it back).
So, I contacted the service to send me the tube so that I wouldn't have to wait again. Eventually, I sent it to the service and waited for about 1.5 months because the replacement part was not available again.
After 1.5 months, I received it and after using it 7-8 times, the buttons started closing on their own again.
After 1 year of moderate use, the circuit board burned out... They told me it would cost 80€ to repair, so I threw it in the blue bin. My friend had bought the exact same one and had the exact same problem. Stay away!!!!
We work it constantly and it still works great. The 2 in 1 combination is indeed practical when there is no available space, but in a different case, it is worth having separate devices.
It seems to have some issues with water overflow, but it's not something terrible. The coffee comes out nice and it continues to function at full capacity for 4 years, and that's what matters!
After a year of operation, once the warranty expired, the power button of the filter coffee machine broke. I contacted the representative and they only asked for an inspection to determine the cost of repair. They want 20 euros, but it's not worth that much money
I have had it for a year and it makes fantastic espresso and French coffee, definitely worth its money. It has a beautiful and minimal design that fits in any kitchen. It needs a cloth underneath for any moisture and water it may release.
Quite satisfactory.
A major drawback is the filter cup where the flow is not good.
The spout is uncomfortable and always spills out when I pour coffee into the cup.
But overall, it is worth it
I bought this coffee maker with doubts about the quality of the coffee it would produce. Many people told me that these double machines are not good and not to buy it. I don't know how durable it will turn out to be in the long run, but in the one month that I have had it, I am quite satisfied. It produces very good coffee and foam both in French press and espresso. It is a machine that you need to learn to handle perfectly. At first, water was leaking and the parts didn't fit properly. But it was my fault, I didn't assemble them correctly. Now it neither leaks nor drips. As for the coffee, you need to experiment. Some coffee is finely ground and some is coarsely ground. It requires a different process, the fine grind needs 26 seconds while the coarse grind needs 20-21 seconds. It also depends on how much pressure you apply to the coffee. You learn all these things with 5-6 cups of coffee. Unfortunately, it is not automatic for espresso, so you have to time the seconds it will run with a clock or use a dosimeter. With a little attention and patience in learning, you can make excellent coffee and try different brands, they make a big difference.
I have had the coffee maker for two years. The espresso it makes is very good, but the froth is average. I use the machine daily, with an average of 4 coffees per day. In the first year, the filter coffee maker broke. At the same time, it started leaking water from the base, which gradually increased. Six months later, the espresso machine broke. I took it for repair, and the espresso machine was fixed, but I was informed that the filter coffee maker had a burnt circuit board. One month after the repair, it stopped working completely again, while it continues to leak water from everywhere.
Although the coffee it makes is very good, it seems that it is not worth its money.
When I received the coffee maker about a month ago, three components were missing.
I couldn't make espresso coffee.
Neither the store, nor the representative of the dealership, nor the technician were sure about the components included in each model.
Finally, a week later, I received what was missing,
with the espresso filter being the same as the one I had and not a different coffee dose.
I didn't have the courage to go through the process again.
At least I'm drinking coffee.
Time will tell the additional features of the coffee maker.
We bought the coffee maker on 30/09/19 for 190 euros. Overall, it makes good quality coffee! Its major drawback is that it steams excessively, especially in the French press, to the point where it clouds everything (tiles, cabinets, outlets), resulting in it sometimes "crying" in the back! We took it to the service center twice. The first time they fixed it and it didn't drip in the back! The second time they told us that it is normal for it to steam so much and if we have it in an open area, it won't drip in the back! We placed it elsewhere and sometimes it does the same! Another drawback in espresso is that it gradually drips water into the base container even when the coffee maker is closed!
Overall... it makes coffee just fine but with the above consequences. In short, it's not worth its money.
Excellent machine. Makes excellent coffee and rich foam. I had the Krups previously but there is no comparison, the Delonghi makes much better coffee by far. Highly recommended.
Entirely made of piano black plastic (easily fills with salt), relatively good quality, but unable to provide steam for frothed milk and make espresso at the same time (either one or the other), so you have to wait. The build quality is simply good. Updated... The French press machine broke.
The coffee maker is very good. I have been very satisfied, both with the filter and with the espresso, which compared to the Delonghi KG79 grinder, the result is satisfactory. Its use is very easy. The noise is within normal limits. As for the steam, it is very powerful.
