Motorcycle alarm from Steelmate with a waterproof mini central unit, sensitivity adjustment of the sensor via the modern and waterproof transmitter with 2 remote controls. Low power consumption, also features engine immobilization. (TG).
Using the latest sensor technology, the 886E1 monitors the condition of the motorcycle and when the system detects a hit, ignition tampering, or if someone tries to move it, the alarm system sounds, while simultaneously cutting off the starter circuit and preventing the motorcycle from starting.

Very satisfied, in a 300cc scooter it has been running for 8 months without any issues. I will come back for durability over time. 15/5/22. In a little while, I will reach two years with the bike and the alarm system works without any problems. It's worth its money, but I believe proper installation also plays a role.
The alarm is good for a moped or scooter and that's about it. If you don't move the bike for more than 5 days, the battery is empty! It drained the battery twice on a brand new bike after just 5 days without even turning it on... unacceptable
Hello! After buying it, they told me from the dealership that if I connect it to the braid I lose the warranty. I have connected it to a 9V battery without touching the braid. It works fine!! Very good!!
For the money, it is the most reliable thing that the dealership placed on a Kymco Downtown 350 that I bought. I also got a GPS tracker and I have notifications on my phone with the motorcycle's location and notification if it goes out of a specific area that I have set. It's worth 40 euros and I have my peace of mind with a lock placed on the disc brake
For the money, it's great, installed on a Honda scooter for a year now and works flawlessly !!
I had it for 10 years on my previous scooter and it worked flawlessly. Now I got the same one for my new bike. We'll see.
It does not block out the world, but it works very well and always. No problem with the battery, the controllers are of good quality, tested in heavy rain and dropped a couple of times.
I put it in a machine a month ago (2022)
It seems very high-quality
I haven't used it yet because I have the machine in the garage.
The previous one I had would hit by itself.
In terms of construction, this one seems like it will withstand a lot over time.
It suddenly burned out without me hardly using it in 2024.
The watermelon is probably bad again
I have the corresponding STEEL MATE 886A since 2014. For eight years now, with the bike parked outside, the alarm works perfectly. You can adjust it to go off at the slightest touch, so you can have peace of mind. I have set it to the highest sensitivity level, and it goes off even when a cat jumps on the saddle or when a car parked next to it slams the door shut. It even goes off with road vibrations (like a compressor or something similar). I can't describe how much it has helped me and the great sense of security it provides.
I have placed the alarm for two to three days. I am satisfied because as soon as you touch the machine or the trunk, it starts making noise.
Very good value for the money of 35€. It was installed on a 50cc Piaggio motorcycle and it works perfectly. Yes, it is Chinese, but don't expect to find something better for this price. I will come back soon with an update on battery consumption.
PS to have it installed by any mechanic, they asked for 20€, so this is the price to have it installed for you.
PS2 Piaggio asked for 250€ just for the purchase of their alarm + 50€ for installation. With the same functions.
Guys, for its price, the alarm is amazing! I have it on my modenas kriss 125 sports and it has saved me three times from attempted theft. I have found my peace of mind!
I bought it a few days ago through skroutz. It is an affordable and good alarm.
Features: When armed, it blocks the electronics and triggers an alarm in case of violation. It also has a silent mode that can be armed from the button if the motorcycle is moved, the indicator lights will start flashing to indicate that the alarm has been activated. If you insert the key to turn it on, the siren will sound and the engine will be immobilized. If you deactivate it, it will automatically arm again after 10 seconds. If you do not want to arm it after using the motorcycle, the alarm will emit 3 repeated beeps as a reminder that it has not been armed. The sensitivity setting works and is easy to handle. Overall, it is good for its price and worth getting to do its job.
For 35 euros, it's great. I've had it on my Sprinter 125 for a year now. And it's perfect. It's not the alarm that wakes you up, but it does its job perfectly. Those who write negative comments may have forgotten the cost of purchase, probably
For just 30 euros (+ 20 euros installation by an electrician), the alarm is value for money. It does not consume much electricity. It is simple in its operation and has an engine immobilizer in cases where they manage to put it forward while it is on. These functions are more than enough for this price. Now, if someone wants remote monitoring, etc., they should look at a more expensive model.
***One year later:
1) The operation remains the same.
2) Absolutely no problem with the battery.
3) I still use the same remote control (daily use).
4) Absolutely no problem with the alarm's operation.
One of the most successful purchases.
I have this specific alarm since 2014 on a Honda Astrea. (I had the same Steelmate alarm with different controls on a Suzuki FX in 2011) It does an incredible job and is very worth its money. I will only tell you that 5 times someone tried to steal my scooter and it really saved me. (2 times with the Astrea and 3 times with the FX) You can adjust its sensitivity and it sounds quite loud. It's worth having peace of mind for this small amount of money.
