Difficult assembly with unacceptable instructions. It doesn't seem very sturdy. I will come back when I make the first wood cut
I bought this product 10 days ago and I have already cut branches.
The pros:
1. Easy to transport.
2. The teeth work fine and do not let the wood rotate while cutting.
3. It is stable when used on the ground. You step on it a little and it stays stable, so you don't need tools to keep it in a fixed position. I just tighten the screws a bit so that it opens and closes when I have thick branches. I have cut branches up to 15 cm.
4. It closes and takes up less space in storage.
5. For its price, it is fair. It gets the job done. Always for amateur use.
The cons:
1. I would prefer the angles to be oval for safety reasons. The same goes for the lower brackets, which can hit your feet.
2. The design of the lower brackets could be better, with one not overlapping the other.
For safety reasons, we never cut inside the sawhorse, but outside of it. If we have to cut inside, then in the widest opening. The chainsaw chain must be well sharpened so that it cuts almost only with its weight. It is good for the branches to be free from branches to make your work easier.
It is not worth it at all if you put a relatively heavy piece of wood, it bends completely. I wonder how they write that it can withstand so many kilograms. Meanwhile, if the chain touches the metal when you cut the wood and you break it, it is also dangerous! It is not a coincidence that Americans only have a wooden sawhorse.
Not at all practical and particularly difficult to assemble. The fact that it is metallic somewhat improves the situation.
It does its job just fine, especially considering the low price.
The instructions are terrible.
I used it a lot because we had many cut olive tree roots at our country house.
