This is a very good Freeroam Arcade game from 2009, the Remastered version of the game is a full game with all the DLC!
Criterion later used the same Game Engine in NFS Most Wanted (2012), so anyone who has played that title will find familiar controls driving cars in Burnout. (Gas along with Brake for Drift, E-Brake for almost Full Spin)

It includes the following DLC:
1) Big Surf Island -> (2nd Enjoyable Mini-Map)
2) Cops and Robbers -> (Police Cars)
3) Legendary Cars -> (Special Cars)
4) Burnout Bikes -> (Motorcycles)
5) Burnout Paradise Toys -> (8 Mini-Cars)

6) Burnout Paradise Party -> (Local Multiplayer Mode -> Note that it is not Split Screen! It is a mode where you set up a Challenge for 2-8 Players and play one by one with the same controller. The goal is, of course, to beat the one who scored the most points, in the least amount of time, and so on)

7) Boost Specials -> (Special Cars with multiple Boost options)
8) Cagney -> (Game update with more Timed Challenges)

The game does not force you to race, you can simply roam around the city, set time records on roads, or search for Super Jumps - Criterion billboards. On the County side, there are 2-3 hidden areas, a track, an airport full of jumps. If you decide to do the races, you unlock several extra cars. The Online Multiplayer mode it has is quite nice with many additional challenges. Of course, you need PS Plus to enjoy it.
