  A wonderful book, with teachings and speeches by Elder Porphyrios, truly enjoyable as well as moving. The love with which Elder Porphyrios spoke is impressive. I believe that even an atheist or non-believer would be touched by his words (as a rationalist, I was moved myself). It is worth having it in your library. I have visited the Holy Monastery of Chrysopigi in Chania, a beautiful monastery with friendly nuns.

  Very good book written simply and comprehensibly. It touches on specific and everyday issues that are very helpful. The references made are as broad as necessary and do not tire. It does not include huge chapters. It has enough examples. It repeats some things but this helps to better assimilate what the author wants to emphasize and ultimately retain in the reader's mind. I can easily say that it is my favorite book, I find it completely comprehensive. In Part A, reference is made to the life without becoming tiresome, but the huge usefulness of this book is in Part B, in the words of Saint Porphyrios. I highly recommend it. Honestly, it should not be missing from any Christian home.
