Combined with a car alarm, it can deter a potential thief. On its own, I consider it a matter of a few seconds to unlock. 3 stars as it is very easy to catch your hand in the closing and get injured, it requires attention and you should close it by holding the edges and pressing towards the direction of the key. However, it appears sturdy.
