By connecting the cable... The legendary Yamaha DX7 IIFD (technology from 1986) came back to life...
It should be noted that the DX7 had gone silent for years due to a battery failure or damaged floppy disks.
Let's say that its sounds are still unmatched today, which is why Yamaha has added the capabilities of the DX7 to the latest Genos 2.
It gave me a bit of trouble because, due to its old technology, this legendary synth from 1986 required a low MIDI transfer speed option... but ultimately, with this option, the cable works perfectly...
What can I say? I was left speechless...

It doesn't work. Not for me either.
I checked it with midi-ox and for some reason the keys cannot all function together. I'm trying to play chords but only one note is heard and I have to wait a long time before I can play another one
It is very easy to install (plug n' play). I have used it with a Suzuki keyboard and also with a Yamaha Clavinova. While it is responsive, occasionally I have to disconnect it from the Windows devices and reconnect it. I have used it with Kontakt, Reaper, and Q Base with only one small issue, a slight delay beyond what is stated by the program, resulting in me having to decrease the program's delay even more by increasing processor usage. It is very good for its price and does its job comfortably. I would recommend it for studio use and not for live performances, only for recording. I would not easily recommend it for monitoring purposes.

Problematic both in terms of hardware implementation and software driver, from what I read. Look for comments about the ch345 chip it uses.
In the end, it worked with an old QuickShot keyboard after I installed the switch on the keyboard that it had for the MIDI interface. Be careful, you connect the in cable to the MIDI out of the keyboard.
It didn't work with the Rockband 3 keytar (keyboard guitar), from what I read it requires some modification in the wiring to make it work with that.
Overall easy to use and reliable for its price (a small tip: When it's time to connect it to your keyboard or any midi controller you use, make sure to connect the cables in reverse, meaning the in to the out and the out to the in). Yes, it sounds silly I know, but it worked for me at least.
