I got it in combination with the Noctua 24 to 12 V adapter for my 3D printer. Huge difference in noise. It also comes with a port with plain cables and 4 omnijoin connections to easily connect it without soldering and tinning.

Classic quality and silent construction from Noctua. I put three in a rackable Synology NAS. The stock fans made it sound like a plane taking off. With the Noctua fans, it is relatively silent, I hear more the heads of the disks than the fans.

I got it for a 3com switch, yes it is quieter than the factory one but I can still hear it and since I have it in my room, the sound is annoying at night.
Compared to the default, it is much better.
As for the pros, the packaging was excessive and it had all the extra goodies inside
