With this work, an attempt is made to provide practical guidelines to all those who wish either to build a house or to buy an apartment in a multi-storey building, when of course it is in the construction stage.
Thus, all the necessary elements are provided so that someone, depending on the location, size, type, and degree of luxury of the house they wish to build, can estimate, approximately, both the total cost and the cost of each individual related task, and be able to schedule them according to their financial capabilities.
Such instructions are also provided so that each owner can monitor and control, as much as possible, the craftsmen and subcontractors who perform all the construction work, except for those related to reinforced concrete works (frame construction).
For these works, all the information regarding their cost is provided. The monitoring of these works, especially in our country, which is so tested by earthquakes, must be continuous and meticulous by the competent supervising engineers, whom the owner must inform timely about the execution of all intermediate phases (formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring, etc.).
It should be emphasized, of course, that the contribution of all supervising engineers to the execution of the remaining works is necessary and imperative, and the knowledge of the relevant issues by the owners helps a lot in the proper execution of their mission.
Finally, it is hoped that this work will help in general all the technicians involved in the execution of construction works.
