  It does a good job. Especially when you do a careful car wash without brushes and vacuuming with proper cloths, etc., it gives a very nice shine and removes light imperfections in the paint. I have tried it by hand and with a polisher. For someone with a well-maintained car, it is worth using it once every 6 months as it provides a light-level polishing and waxing. In combination with maintenance during each wash with wax spray, the car is always impeccable and without spiderwebs, etc
