The purpose of this booklet is to serve as a useful aid for adults (parents and educators) who are called upon to support a child through a crisis. This booklet provides some very basic information to parents and educators on how a child is expected to react in a crisis, what their needs are, when we have reason to worry, and how we can support a child.
This effort aims to offer relief and pave the way for all those who are called to support children in a difficult situation, so that they themselves feel that they have the ability to react to what is happening and that they can continue to respond with sensitivity and effectiveness to their challenging task.
