The breast pump is a mechanical way of collecting milk and is used either when the mother is unable to breastfeed on her own or when she needs to separate from the newborn, often in the case when the mother wants to return to work.
This specific "BY 70", from the company Beurer, is electric, it securely attaches to the breast creating a natural suction. It creates a stimulating sensation at the point for milk collection depending on the desired speed by the mother. It also has an integrated bottle for milk collection and is easy to clean and sterilize.
How is the milk stored:
The best way is for the milk, once pumped, to be offered directly to the baby. If the mother wants to store the milk, she can keep it in the refrigerator, in a bottle, for up to 5 days or freeze it for up to 6 months in a sterilized glass bottle. The milk can stay at room temperature for up to 6 hours.

After a year of use, I am now considering buying another, more reliable one for my second pregnancy. While it is easy to use and initially did a good job, it only has one size of flange, resulting in poor fit and leaks. The milk often ran over me or through the silicone if I didn't sit in a certain position. It is very noisy, and when I used it frequently due to oversupply, it often produced less milk or caused discomfort. It also took a long time to extract milk at times. Overall, I was not satisfied at all. It might be suitable for another mother who uses it less frequently or for occasional use. It just didn't work for me. I'm sorry.
It is excellent for its price. It takes Nuk or Avent bottles directly and you don't have to deal with bags. It has options for how strong to pump.
In the 5 months of occasional use, the plastic plug connecting the device to the suction cup broke and half of it remained stuck in the socket. I contacted customer service and the employee responded with a particularly aggressive tone, telling me that this could not have happened (!!!) and that they had never received any complaints. I was forced to send him a photo of the damage and he still asked me if I had used a knife to cut it (!!!). Then, after assuring him that I would never put a knife in the suction cup that I paid for my baby, he suggested that I find a tool to remove it myself!!!! And of course, I would have to pay 25 euros to buy a new set of spare parts..... I definitely do not recommend it, unacceptable service.
