I have purchased other products from this particular company and have formed a very positive opinion about them. This specific cable provided a solution to an annoying problem I had with interference from a relatively expensive USB 3.0 hub on my wireless devices (mouse and keyboard). Since I didn't want to throw it away, having identified that the issue was with the thin and poorly shielded cable, I decided to place it further away from my computer on my desk. That's why I ended up buying this specific extension, which was mentioned by the manufacturer to have double shielding for USB 3.0 interference. This fact, as well as the quality of the cable, were confirmed from the first contact with the product. The cable has a large diameter and to put it simply, it is a thick cable (almost twice the diameter of my problematic USB hub) and I believe it does indeed have double shielding. It is a high-quality construction and from the moment I started using it, removing the USB hub from my computer, all interference problems were eliminated. Therefore, if you need a high-quality USB 3.0 extension that doesn't have the known and annoying issue of version 3 of USB, I highly recommend it.
