This particular book aims to meet the requirements of the course "History of the Modern and Contemporary World" (from 1815 to the present).

Following the examined material of the school textbook and the guidelines proposed in the teacher's book, this book consists of 43 teaching units, each containing:
- diagrams that highlight the most important points of the historical narrative
- definitions of key concepts or historical events
- indicative answers to the questions in the school textbook, accompanied by commentary according to the historical narrative of the school textbook
- approach to the sources of the school textbook, in which the information of the excerpt and the corresponding part of the historical narrative are presented
- comprehension questions and "True - False" type questions, which help in understanding and consolidating each teaching unit
- questions on supplementary sources, which aim to cover the needs of historical understanding by analyzing specific historical issues. Some sources are processed for uniformity of style and writing
- evaluation criteria at the end of each unit

Additionally, the book includes:
- review evaluation criteria, which examine the entire teaching material
- an appendix with films recommended to interested parties as a creative approach to the historical past, useful for understanding and relating it to the present.
