I put it on a 9th generation 6-core i5-9400 processor....in games, the processor was running at red temperatures of 90-100 c, which means that this specific cooler was not doing its job...I put the stock cooler back on and in games, the processor did not go above 52 c degrees...this is my personal experience after removing the cooler three times with changes in thermal paste using the best one...and with careful placement to ensure it is properly seated. That's all from me, which means it's not suitable for gaming.

  • I bought it cheap (under 15€) for a very casual use machine and I was impressed with the quiet and efficient cooling of the CPU.

On an AMD Phenom II X6 1055T (which is a processor of a very old architecture - 10 years old), which traditionally has high temperature output, I significantly lowered the temperature (enough to even try a little overclocking, which is not really my thing). Even so, it produced air that was not particularly hot and you couldn't really tell that it was working!

It also has discreet blue LED on the fan (in the center), so it doesn't make the whole cooler look unattractive/kitschy in the case! It is somewhat bulky (which is logical though for it to do its job) and it comes with the accessories (mounting bracket) included in the package (which is of good quality) to be installed on Intel processors - however, the default design seems to be mainly for AMD processor bases!

In the PROS, it should be added that they provide a whole tube of thermal paste for you to apply as desired - I didn't certify the quality of it, since I generally use a different paste, but nevertheless it is a good move that they DON'T give it in a small loose envelope and you have to squeeze it out as best as you can!

I highly and unreservedly recommend it!!!

It was installed on a Ryzen 5 3600, which was hitting 87 degrees in gaming with the stock cooler, and now it's at 51 degrees. Idle temperature went from 55 to 40, all in a room with a temperature of 27 degrees.
I bought it when it was priced at 14 euros, and now it has dropped even further. There is no competition at this price range, and there isn't even anything comparable at double the price. Be quiet and others do the same things.
During installation, it would be good to have access behind the socket on the motherboard because pressure can be applied during installation, and it helps to be able to push in the opposite direction to avoid putting too much strain on the motherboard.

Very good cooler. I have the fx 8350 and with the stock cooler it had an average temperature of 38-40 idle and when using chrome (not in a game) it easily reached 50-55, while with the antec a40 pro it goes down to 29-30 idle and in the game I opened it reached up to 49-50.

    1) Very good temperatures compared to the stock cooler. Definitely one of the best choices for its price (at 27 euros).
    2) The fan is not very good and not easily replaceable, but it does its job just fine. There are clips made of soft plastic that hold it in place, but there are no extra ones in the packaging, so if they break or if you want to add another fan for "push-pull," you'll have to come up with a solution. Note that the fan has its own size that doesn't match the standard ones, it's 92mm I think. It doesn't reach my RAM, though, it just slightly covers the fan with Corsair Vengeance, nothing significant, just for your information.
    3) I recommend assembling the cooler OUTSIDE the device because there is a possibility of causing damage to the CPU and motherboard.
    4) The thermal paste that comes with it is also very good. Don't expect room temperatures, but at least I no longer exceed 60 degrees Celsius in stress tests with overclocking.
    5) It's definitely worth it as a budget cooler, but if you don't know much about computers, it's not as easy as it's presented in the reviews and instructions. Ask someone to help you. To give you an idea, I had to use pliers to fit it and I applied a lot of force to insert the clip. How does it come off? Only God knows.

It works excellently for its price. The 4 copper pipes make a difference compared to other coolers in the same category. I emphasize again, be careful with the assembly.

Very good value for money CPU cooler. It fits on top of the plastic parts of the motherboard for AMD AM3/AM4, so you don't have to search for it
