They say that luck favors the bold, and in Naruto's case, this seems to be true. After passing the first written part of the exams, the three young ninjas, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke, are faced with a great challenge - known as the "Forest of Death". Each team is pitted against the others, and Mitarashi Anko, the supervisor of the second part of the exams, announces that only half of them will proceed to the next phase! The goal of each team is to obtain the necessary scroll - something very difficult in such a hostile and unfriendly environment. And as if all that wasn't enough, a mysterious figure has infiltrated among the examinees with the sole goal of targeting Sasuke!
