I laugh at reviews like "the battery doesn't last, it breaks after a year, etc...." Our job is 24/7 (aircraft engineers) and we need flashlights every night... we have over 40 P7R and only one has a broken glass on the lamp from a fall from a great height... these flashlights are the best I have ever tried and so far they have all lasted for 4 years...

I don't know why the previous ones had such problems. I am very satisfied. I have been using it professionally for 1.5 years without any issues and the battery lasts a strong 2 hours. If you change the battery for any reason, be careful with the base. Very nice magnetic charger that attaches to the back without cables and without needing to remove the battery. The beam is round with nice adjustment. Truly, if it was waterproof, it would be the ultimate flashlight

If you have this money for a flashlight that only works for one year, then okay. In two flashlights of my own and one of a friend's, the battery base broke very quickly and with very careful use. Wasted money, there are much better ones with less cost.
