For the money, excellent. The nvr software is expensive, the same as the srihome nv004 (189.95 from eshop), which pleasantly impressed me. Honest camera and recorder construction (I will return with a review on the quality of the camera plastics). In a review I read somewhere that the camera only adjusts up and down. Wrong! On the camera where the arm starts, there are two cross screws that you loosen enough and move the camera to the desired tilt right and left, and then tighten the screws to stabilize it. The software on android is tseye, which I also found easy and fast. Overall, I think it's worth the money. It includes a mouse but not an hdmi or vga cable. **After three months of operation, the external cameras have not had any issues or changed color like the Srihome ones (from white to yellow). The recorder is quite good without any glitches or anything. In one word, a good purchase for this money!
It has a very narrow viewing angle, so in order to cover a bedroom ceiling of 3+++ meters, two cameras are needed. Additionally, the arm does not have the ability to look where you want; if the camera is placed in a fixed position, it only looks straight and downwards.
For now, I am satisfied with the performance of the cameras. It has some interruptions in video recording. The resolution is satisfactory for their price.
For the money, it is good. It has easy installation and works fine. The cameras are not 2.8 mm so the image doesn't have a wide angle, so they need some distance to show a large area
Honest for its price.
Installation on the mobile is a bit tricky, but it's not something tragic.
I would like it to come with an HDMI cable and a mouse with a longer cable or wireless.
I provided power from an LED power supply. Its own ones stayed in the box.
I tried to install it with WiFi but couldn't.
Obviously, the DVR communicates with the cameras on the WiFi frequencies but it doesn't receive or send image packets to the router.
Only Ethernet.
Definitely saves you a lot of work because it's not easy to pull a cable 4 times from 20-30 meters.
The cameras show very clear during the day. At night, pixelation is intense but only on a 55-inch OLED. It looks clearer on the mobile screen.
I tried to increase the resolution to 1080p but couldn't. It's locked at 720p.
I couldn't zoom either. Of course, I'm still discovering functions but this zoom issue left a negative impression on me.
I installed a 480GB SSD for the hard drive. Much quieter than hard drives, even though it's slightly more expensive.
Overall, it's good. The build quality on the cameras and DVR is decent. It provides all the basic functions.
Very good for its price, first time in the 4 years that I do installations I chose wireless and they impressed me both with their image and how much work you can save in small installations where you don't have a signal issue and you don't have to spend a day running cables. I hope they will withstand over time. Also, I didn't search to see if you can add another wireless camera besides the ones included in the package, from another brand, meaning via IP. If someone knows if it's possible, please mention it for the next person who will choose them
It is not the latest technology nor does it have any expensive build quality, we knew that before buying it. It has minor playback and tuning issues (it resets options on its own).
Good value for money.
Good image analysis, easy and fast installation and connectivity, satisfactory range for the furthest camera at 25-30m, works with a mobile application, requires the purchase of a hard drive!
The signal has no problem. The issue is that it has no sound and no motion detector. The image quality during the day is very good for its price, as well as during the night.
It is not easy to install, often experiences a cyclic loss of image, meaning that the disconnection is transferred from window to window. I couldn't enter the pin code, the field is gray as if it has retained settings from another user, I'm not sure. Also, very often, two cameras that see the same point, one sees the present and the other will show me the same event after 20 seconds or more, or not at all.
I was impressed by how easily and quickly it detected the cameras. The cameras were placed about 30-40 meters away from the recorder and within seconds, without doing anything, I had an image on the screen. Of course, there is no need for WiFi (internet) for the cameras to connect to the recorder. Only if you want to have the image on your mobile, then it needs to be connected to the router.
The build quality is average.
The image quality is mediocre to good.
Nighttime shots are good.
The image is not wide-angle.
Easy installation.
The quality of the central unit is somewhat low (the antennas came off, but were reattached with glue).
The cameras are of high quality, but I would like them to be a little more wide-angle.
A decent product.
Installed in a supermarket and connected via HDMI to a 24-inch television, as well as via Ethernet to the network.
Due to congestion on the 2.4GHz frequency, I had to set each camera to UDP on the least crowded channels, otherwise the image would freeze for 3 seconds every now and then.
I would recommend, if possible, to connect the controller via Ethernet to avoid interference... if you decide to deal with wireless, it will still work well.
With the application (which works flawlessly), you can customize each camera separately, as well as the hub.
It has night vision capabilities (which activate automatically in low light), recording to a disk (only internal SATA... it doesn't work with USB sticks or NTFS or FAT32), a speaker in the hub that sends you email and app notifications, and when the motion sensor is triggered, it also records on your phone for security purposes.
Personally, I would prefer them with slightly wider angles of view (maybe a wide-angle lens can be added to the cameras with a patent... I haven't tried it).
You can view live footage from the internet on the application as it connects to the cloud.
It also comes with everything... power supplies for the hub and each camera... mounting brackets... even a mouse for management.
With a hard drive, it will reach its full functionality.
Also, the hub supports up to 8 cameras if you want to buy 4 more separately.
Cameras and hub operate on 12V, so you can buy a mini UPS to keep them running during power outages.
I hope I didn't bore you.
It's worth the money... a must-have for homes and stores.
Update: I compared the image quality between wireless and wired... I noticed a bit more noise in the image when the cameras were wireless... another reason to connect them with the hub.
I tested them with powerline to avoid cable clutter and they worked plug and play.
I will buy another set for my home to record in offline mode.
Very good construction and good image quality.
Easy-to-use menu.
Everything you need for installation is included in the package (except the hard drive, of course)
