I have had it for 9 years and it is perfect. It has not given me any problems even with long daily use
I have had this particular console since 2016, resulting in me developing an experience over the years. The console has excellent image quality for its year, has a wide variety of video games, and amazing build quality, meaning it is sturdy and has fairly high-quality plastic, so the controller doesn't break when you get frustrated and want to throw it down. However, there is one negative aspect, which is quite significant, especially for battle royale games. The negative aspect is the fps that the console reaches. For example, in Fortnite, it only reaches 60 fps. But the image is still quite smooth.
At the current price of 300€, it is definitely not worth it. It's only worth it if you don't care about fps and resolution. Of course, it's all a matter of perspective, but personally I wouldn't recommend getting it because for 100€-200€ more you can get a much better console like the ps5, xbox series x/s, or a decent pc (with better specs than the ps4). The controller constantly disconnects at some point and sometimes kicks me out of the internet even though it's working fine and properly plugged in. In short, if you find it for 200€, it's worth it, but if you're going to get it for 300€, it's better to spend a little more to get a device that will last longer and be better.
The console is very good, I have had it for 7 years, but it only fell once and broke. Okay, I'm not saying the fall was from 1.6 meters, but it had never fallen before

The console is worth its money. I got it for 350€ from public. I mainly play FIFA 23 and EA FC 24. Sometimes I also play GTA 5 and it doesn't freeze anywhere, except for a small detail that it freezes a bit in GTA Online. I have also ordered an external hard drive of 2TB because the 500GB is not enough for me, unfortunately, many things are missing in EA games. I would say that it is a very good console

Listen, I got it in 2019 with 1 tb and two controllers. It's really worth it for what it does, I mean max 320€, and if you have VR, it takes it to another level. Of course, in a little while, I will upgrade to the PS5, but it's been really good so far
Look, the ps4 was a perfect console. But in 2023.... The ps4 is now a mediocre console that can hardly run the games that are being released now. 350€ is WAY TOO MUCH for this console in 2023
Very good console with a huge variety of games. I got it in 2021 when I ran out of graphics cards and I don't regret it. Quality and completely silent console! Now, for 2023 and with the price of the PS5 dropping, I don't know if I would get it, but for €270 and games ranging from €10 to €20, it's definitely worth it. I, for one, have fallen in love with it!

Αρχικά το έχω από το 2017. Ο χώρος αυτός δεν φτάνει με τίποτα. Με το ζόρι 5 παιχνίδια από τα 13 που έχω χωράει. Για να παίξω κάποιο από τα υπόλοιπα που έχω πρέπει να απεγκαταστησω κάποιο άλλο παιχνίδι. Ζεσταίνεται υπερβολικά και φτάνει σε σημείο να κάνει σαν να απογειώνεται αεροπλάνο. Τεράστια loading times σε ορισμένα παιχνίδια και επίσης τρελό lag ειδικά σε παιχνίδια με πολλά shadows. Τέλος έβγαλε και εμένα αυτό το πρόβλημα με το blu ray drive και πλέον διαβάζει όποιον δίσκο θέλει αυτό. Για εμένα πεταμένα λεφτά. Πάρτε έναν υπολογιστή που έχετε την δυνατότητα να τον αναβαθμίσεται, έχει την ίδια και μεγαλύτερη ποικιλία παιχνιδιών και δεν θα έχετε τέτοια προβλήματα. Πεταμένα λεφτά για εμένα.
στα καινούργια παιχνίδια ζορίζεται και η τιμή του(300+ ευρω) οτι νανε το αγόρασα το 2015 στα 300 ευρω και 8 χρονια μετα ακόμα κανει τοσο? Μην το πάρετε τώρα εν ετη 2023 παρτε το ps5 η το xbox series S που ειναι πιο budget λυση με πολυ καλες επιδόσεις!
For a console priced at 300€, it is very good. I bought it in 2020 and I am fully satisfied, as it has not presented any problems so far. The price is satisfactory because the PS4 runs at 1080p 60fps resolution! The only negative aspect is that when I insert the disc, the noise increases, and if you are playing COD and are in a party with many people, then you know that you have the new Sony Airlines airplane next to you!
Positives -
1. It runs everything, I bought it in 2017 and I am very satisfied.
2. 500gb is great and at a good price, so I would easily buy it.
3. Fortnite, Rocket League are great and even heavier games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare run smoothly.
Negatives -
1. It is difficult to clean the dust that accumulates, and despite what some say, after a year it will have some issues, but after two years it will only have difficulty due to dust and not because of any other problem.
2. After 2 years, it starts to freeze more and more gradually. Not so much in games, but more when selecting the game you want (in the menu, in other words).
3. The disc gets stuck... you didn't understand... I paid 400 euros for a device (that's how much it was then) just to press the button to eject the disc and it keeps it inside, and I have to go through a whole process to take it out.
4. I haven't had it with me for the past month due to a sudden malfunction, even though everything was fine the previous time... by malfunction, I mean I pressed the power button and it had a problem, as if the power cable had a problem, but even that was not an issue.
CONCLUSIONS -
1. Good for its price, but only for the first 2-3 years.
2. Over time, it will gradually become useless
Well, this particular console is almost perfect but the hardware is outdated and this means that it doesn't show very good performance. Let's say that Fortnite used to run at a locked 60fps ALWAYS and we're talking about chapter 1. Now the fps drop and it's annoying. Second example, Gta 5 online. 25 fps?! And you can say that the game is not new, even in story mode it struggles to reach 30. Other than that, if you want to get the console for fifa, nba, etc. It's fine. I would tell you that it would be better to buy the xbox series s at the same price, which has much more power.
I had bought it 2 years ago and it is very good, but lately it started to lag a bit, but it plays games just fine. However, it plays FORTNITE perfectly fine, but it takes a bit longer to get into games. But overall, the PS4 slim is great.

It's the worst thing I've had for 2 years. Within a year, it started making a noise (iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii) and if this noise didn't stop, it would freeze the game you're playing, any game. Now it's making the same noise and when it stops after 10 seconds, I can't do anything. And when I say anything, I mean TTTTIIIIIPPPPOOOOTTTTAAA. It doesn't even eject the disc that much. Be patient for 2 to 3 years and build a PC with 600 euros. It's worth 10000000000000000000000 times more than this console. Oh, I forgot, there's also a broken update in the software system and if you do it, it will ruin your PS4. Don't buy it
This console is not worth even 200€. It's better to spend at least 100€ more and get a PlayStation 5
I am the owner of the product and I have to say that it is a very good purchase choice. I bought the console a while ago and I have to say that it was worth the money.
The positives for me are: the controller is very good, it has good performance, the console is also very good in terms of graphics, etc. Plus, it doesn't make any noise for me (only when I get close it makes a little noise) and it doesn't freeze in any game.
Negatives: the space doesn't suit me very well, I have Fortnite and GTA V and it has already taken up 123 out of the 500, so the space is not very satisfactory. And I have to say that it collects a lot of dust on the plastic and the grooves... It's an issue but it doesn't affect the console in any way, it just needs a cleaning.
Overall, in my opinion, the console is worth it in 2021 and it doesn't matter that it was released in 2013 or that the PS5 was released... It is still worth it today, so get it now while it's still available
I have had the console for 3 years and it has really met my needs. It is a powerful console with nice graphics. The only downside is that it only has 500gb and the memory fills up very easily. It also has a pretty good loading time.
Μακριά από sony παίδες. Αυτή η κονσόλα δεν αξίζει ούτε 200€. Κάνει εξαιρετικά υψηλό θόρυβο κάποιες φορές και θα σοκαριστείτε, πραγματικά! Υπάρχουν μεγάλες ποικιλίες παιχνιδιών δεν λέω, αλλά το 2021 δεν την συστήνω με τίποτε. Να την αγοράσουν αυτοί που παίζουν fifa και γενικά αθλητικά παιχνίδια. Τελος, από αυτό το κουτί αξίζει το χειριστήριο, το οποίο δεν είναι και το πιο αυθεντικό. Εξάλλου, υπάρχουν και τα καινούργια xbox που θεωρώ πολύ δυνατότερα και με πολύ φθηνότερες τιμές!

It is not worth getting a laptop or computer with integrated graphics, they will have the same performance as, for example, the popular game Fortnite reaching 60fps just like the Vega 8. It is not for doing tricks, for example, in Fortnite you will be slow in editing. 2. Your hands get sweaty (in other words, the Ps4 and other consoles from all companies like Xbox, Nintendo, etc. are not for gamers with capital letters, they are for those who want to pass the time playing their little games without spending a lot of money)
κάτοχος του ps4 slim πάνω από 3 χρόνια μπορώ να πω ότι έχω περάσει το τελευταία χρόνια αφοσιωμένος πάνω του. τα πάντα τέλεια, αποδόσεις τέλειες, απλά μετά από καιρό (3 με 5 χρόνια) θα συνειδητοποιείσετε ότι η ζωή του φτάνει στο τέλος του και ότι είναι καιρός για μια αναβάθμιση. εάν θέλετε να το πάρετε τώρα, δεν σας το συνιστώ, ας περιμένετε λίγο να κατέβουν οι τιμές του ps5 στα 400 ή 500 (ανάλογα την έκδοση) και πάρτε αυτό. 8.5/10
