It has diffused light which ultimately does a better job than the spot, and its light is pure white. The quality is amazing. Buy a second specialized battery for it so that you have the 2800 lumens, otherwise, even with a regular 18650 battery, it will turn on but not at 2800 lumens. Also, buy a charger from Nitecore. Let me remind you that a flashlight from 700 to 1200 lumens is ideal for use in many conditions. I prefer this one because I have it on the first setting and it is truly bright for most tasks.
