Mediocre construction. It leaves marks on any bike you put on it. The upright stand is unacceptable in terms of screwing. Get something more expensive so you don't cry over your bike
The base is very sturdy and stable. On the road at 120, it feels like you're not even carrying a bike.
The only downsides, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, are the following:
- The package I received did not include a simple instruction manual for initial setup, so I had to refer to the internet to find it.
- In the photos, it appears that there are support clamps (the black brackets) for attaching to the bars, but in reality, the package only includes regular brackets. This results in, as another friend mentioned, inconvenience for installation and removal if one does not have the appropriate tools.
Correct rating 4:5 but value for money remains, so rounding up. They are narrow and not suitable for all bars. They definitely do not fit on Thule Wing bars. I had to install them on another car. Other than that, it is a very good product, stable at speeds of 120-130 on highways and very stable on turns. It did not bother me at all.
For installation, you will need a wrench with a 10mm socket or you will have to cut the P-type screws shorter, otherwise you might end up screwing and unscrewing for days.
I would recommend them, especially since they are not suitable for wide racks. Very reliable.
So far, everything is good. I consider it a fair and reliable base. I tested it at a speed of up to 120 kilometers per hour and everything was fine. It also worked well for about an hour on a road with many turns. Usually, the pedals would hit something, but this time they didn't touch anything. The only downside, if you consider it one, is that I would have liked the butterfly that holds the neck to be more secure. Other than that, I recommend it.
The grill is unacceptable. Very difficult to assemble, poor quality. It's not worth its money
