If you place them correctly, they effectively reduce the noises. 4 stars because after 3-4 hours you wake up with a sweaty ear and a terrible itch, so you have to play with the earplug inside and outside to relieve the itch and then go back to sleep. Now, when sleeping on the sides, you have to position your head correctly. It takes time to get used to it. There are instructions stuck on the back of the box, clearly stating that they are for single use and not reusable. So, they lose their effectiveness

- By far the best in terms of noise isolation.
- The best in terms of reusability for those of you who are interested in using them more than once.
- The most comfortable ones I have used in terms of not waking up with pain or being unable to sleep due to pain, unlike others, especially for those with small or sensitive ear canals. I have been using them daily for 5 months (without reusing them) and there are days when I wake up with slight pain, but nothing significant and it naturally goes away 5 minutes after getting up and taking them off.

In general, about earplugs:- If you are interested in maximum noise isolation with the best possible comfort, then these are the best I have found.
- If you are interested in maximum comfort with the best possible noise isolation, then the silicone earplugs from Pic Solution are the best I have tried. And as a side note, if you don't know, silicone earplugs, as well as wax ones, although more convenient because they don't go inside the ear, offer lower noise isolation.

I will conclude with this comment. Since I see comments saying that they don't block the noise, your expectations should be under control when buying earplugs and you should know or understand to what extent they block or reduce noise in general. They can completely isolate or reduce certain noises such as cars, motorcycles passing by, distant barking of dogs, or voices/noise/music from nearby establishments, but if you have a barking dog right next to your ear, no earplug will eliminate it. So when you say that they don't block the noise, you should say it in comparison to another earplug you have tried, not in general. Did you find this review helpful?I have been using them for many years and I sleep with them every night. They are the best in terms of sound insulation that I have tried. In terms of comfort, they are just okay. I would like them to be a little thinner (maybe by 1 millimeter) because they create pressure inside the ear and after a few days of use, you feel a slight pain in the ears (then I alternate them with wax ones for a few nights). I would also like them to be a little shorter because I have to trim them with scissors by about half a centimeter each time. If they stick out too much from the ear, they bother me when I sleep on my side.
Also, after about two weeks of nightly use, they need to be replaced because the material loses its elasticity, meaning it loses the ability to compress and immediately return to its original shape, but instead takes a few seconds to regain its shape once you put them in your ear. When you compress them and they immediately return to their original shape, it means they need to be replaced, which is why some people write that they are too soft or that you have to twist them as you put them in your ear. You should not twist them. You should compress them with rotating movements of your fingers and then simply put them in your ears, and in a few seconds, they will expand. When you have difficulty putting them in, it's because they expand immediately and need to be replaced.

To apply them correctly, you should:
1. twist them into a screw shape and gently press them into the opening of your ear
2. then, once about 3/4 of the earplug is inside your ear

Personally, I consider them equivalent to 3M. The 3M Nextcare offer better sound insulation, but the Hansaplast ones are more flexible and easier to fit into the ear canal. Additionally, they wear out more slowly compared to the 3M ones.
