  This review is about the viscosity: 10W-40

  Group III oil with a content of 75%-90% is not true 100% Synthetic, but it is like all the others that claim to be 100% Synthetic on the label (e.g. MOTUL 7100) and it is not PAO Group IV in essence, but Group III.

  * The old ones will remember the battle in the courts Mobil 1 VS Castrol with Castrol advertising the Group III oils as 100% synthetic, and not being Group IV/V.

  [Unfortunately, Mobil 1 lost the court case, and the road opened for other companies to sell Group III oils with the name 100% Synthetic.]

  But because in Germany there are strict criteria, if you search on a German site, you will see that many oils that claim to be 100% Synthetic on the labels, in Germany due to regulations, Synthetic = PAO Group IV composition, you will see that they release MOTUL 7100 / Castrol Power 1 Racing and the related ones with the name Technosythetic.

  Here the MOTUL 300V, which has 25%-50% PAO in the Factory Line depending on the viscosity (strange but true), is a superior oil with a higher price, of course, and combines Group III, IV, and V, but still it is not pure base stock Group IV PAO strictly / Group V POE.
  It also has Group III, Hydrocracked HC.

  Honest for its price if you change it frequently below 2,000km.

  Whoever wants PAO Group IV/V should look at Redline or the very expensive series of AMSOIL or Ravenol, which all three companies have high HTHS and base stock Group IV.

  Now, as for comments, speeds, etc., etc., etc.
  Oil up and tighten the chain correctly with the weight on the engine or if it has become a mess, change it.

  The difference was noticeable from the first moment. In BMW GS, the gears engage very well and the operation is smooth, which is also evident in the sound of the engine. I highly recommend it as it is the only oil that I saw a noticeable difference compared to BMW Original and Motul.

  It is the second time I am using this oil on my motorcycle (Kawasaki Versys 650cc, 2007) and I can say that I am satisfied. Since the motorcycle had not been used for a long time, I put the oil for the first time and the second change was done at 2500 km with the same oil. The first oil had a lot of blackness, which means that the cleaning agents of the oil worked very well, retaining the blackness from the friction of the metals and the engine combustion, while the oil maintained its normal consistency and did not become watery.   I have used the old one with SL API specification and just two days ago I put the new one with SN API specification. With the old one, I had a problem with oil consumption, but with the new one, I haven't driven enough kilometers yet to see. I will come back when I have formed a better opinion. 2021 update: After just one change, the crankshaft bearing broke. I will never put it again
