I am the owner of this particular steering wheel for about half a year. I have used it with every sim that exists and doesn't exist, with any car/track combination. I don't think there is a better steering wheel for the beginner/intermediate sim racer. In fact, I feel that the next step after the T300 could only be a direct wheel drive from Fanatec/Simucube. It has enough power and responsiveness to convey the details of a laser-scanned track (puddles, curbs, grass/gravel, etc.) and, most importantly, allow you to "catch" the slides in which you inevitably find yourself. In the application at the office, I put "so-so" because after hours of racing, especially with more "violent" cars like WRC, where you make many abrupt corrections, the steering wheel tends to move to the right or left or outward. I don't think this affects the driving, but it is annoying to have to straighten it or push it in the middle of a race. This may also be due to my office setup. Anyway, to conclude, I will comment on the Alcantara covering. It is beautiful and feels great in the hand (or with gloves), but in the approximately six months that I have been using it (more than 16 hours daily), it has started to come off in certain areas. I imagine it can be fixed with super glue, but yeah.

I did a lot of research before I ended up with the T300 (and having tried various wheels) and I have to say the following: No matter what you read from comments, don't be fooled by the praises for Logitech. It doesn't come close to Thrustmaster at all. This specific wheel is flawless, big, with a wonderful alcantara covering, exceptional FFB, and overall great construction. The three pedals are a must for anyone who wants to have a racing wheel, while the responsiveness and lock feel like a real car. Of course, this wheel, as well as the others at the same price range, are mainly aimed at hardcore gamers who have a hobby for cars and mainly play racing games. For the rest, it really doesn't make sense to invest in something like this, it's better to buy a wheel for up to 100 euros. However, when it comes to comparing Thrustmaster, Logitech (especially the G29), Hori, etc., the first one easily outshines the others. No matter how much value for money the G29 seems to have, it has too many disadvantages compared to even the T150. So if someone is interested in sim racing, it's definitely worth spending a little more money on the T300. Moreover, it can be modified by purchasing an H Shifter, another wheel, different pedals, etc

For now, I am using it on the PS3.
No comparison to the G27 I had before.
I combine it with the TH8A shifter.

In direct comparison to GT6 (compared to the G27), it is:

-1080 degrees
-No "deadzone" in the middle.
-Almost silent.
-Much stronger. For example, I had the G27 at 10 in GT6 while I have this one at 5 and it still feels stronger to me.
-Very smooth in sudden direction changes as well as vibrations.
-Simply put, the G27 seems like a toy now.
-The plastic parts are of higher quality.
-The texture of the alcantara steering wheel simply DOES NOT EXIST.
-The steering wheel has a diameter of 30cm, compared to the G27 which is 27cm.
-The pedals are of higher quality and have a more realistic feel, especially with the "conical brake mod". However, only the pedal faces are metallic.

Overall, for someone who wants to get a new steering wheel now, I highly recommend it.
Don't be fooled by the "new" G29.

For me, it's either the T300RS or T500RS or this one. If there is a bigger budget, then Fanatec.
