The ultimate manual 50mm f/1.2

Surprising lens! Unexpectedly sharp already at f/1.2 and extremely sharp between f/2-f2.8.
The depth of field is VERY shallow at f/1.2 and requires attention to focus, it is very easy to be unfocused and think that the lens is soft when it is not.
Quality, sturdy construction and the focus ring is smooth and soft as it should be.

Something that many do not know is that although the lens is made for crop -almost- it covers the FF sensor. With a little cropping at the edges, you can take advantage of the larger part of the FF

I did not expect such quality construction and especially performance in all aspects from such an affordable lens. Very sharp, amazing color reproduction, one flaw is that it is very soft wide open up to f/2.8. From there and above, it is incredible! My first manual focus lens and it is a breeze after all
