Greece, early twentieth century. A young man decides to seek his fortune in other cities. He embarks on a long journey from Zachlorou to New York. To an unknown city. To a new homeland. The road passes through Paris.

Artistic movements, ideas and ideologies, painters, poets and philosophers, as well as ordinary people, meet in the French capital a month before the outbreak of World War I.
A Paris that boils as it gives birth to the new world. Conflicts, intrigues and political assassinations drag the societies of Europe into chaos.
The penultimate stop on this journey is the New York hotel in the port of Rotterdam.
