    On mobile phones it only works monophonically even with an adapter with 3 lines.
    Personally, I couldn't get it to work in stereo with any microphone even though I tried many microphones with many connection methods and many adapters.
    I concluded that smartphones are not compatible with stereo microphones.
    This particular microphone records excellently in stereo on all devices except smartphones.
