At first, I was hesitant about this particular purchase. However, after some tests, I can tell you that it makes excellent coffee and I highly recommend it.
Firstly, you should find the quantity of coffee and sugar that you like, it requires some experimentation.
Secondly, the water, coffee, and sugar should not exceed the last line of the cup so that the coffee can be brewed and expand; otherwise, it will come out earlier without being properly brewed.
Thirdly, sometimes even if you have added the right amount mentioned in the second point, it may come out a little earlier (in about half the time it should), you just put it back in and it's fine, especially because the coffee doesn't "steam".
Fourthly, I found a slight difference when stirring the coffee with the sugar, compared to just pouring it in without stirring, so I recommend it. It is also better to stir it with the plastic spoon that it comes with to avoid scratches.
Generally, from what I have observed, any "error" that may occur is related to the quantity of water and coffee when it exceeds the "limit" it should have. After each use, of course, the briki needs to be cleaned and dried.
Quick coffee in about 3 minutes for a full cup, easy to use without ever overflowing (1 month of use/4 coffees per day approximately) and beautiful.
In the end, I bought a second one for work. (Attention to those who want to cut the receipt, if you do, you lose the warranty because it is recommended for household use).

Very good machine but it broke in the first week.
It has a 2-year warranty. The damage has not yet been repaired or the machine replaced due to COVID shutdown.
The company should have taken care of the replacement or repair of the product with a courier.
Very disappointed with the company's attitude.

I read some comments and I burst out laughing! Obviously, they are not using the machine correctly! I have had it since 2017 and the coffee is always equally good, I would even say excellent even when it's plain. The only thing it needs is proper maintenance in washing, which means do not put it in the dishwasher.
Although initially skeptical about the quality of coffee it would produce, I was pleasantly surprised. The final taste and appearance of the coffee leaves nothing to be desired compared to coffee made in a traditional pot, in single or double dose! Very good in foam, easy to clean. The fact that you press a button and forget about it, is a great job for someone who makes Greek coffee! The only thing left is to see its durability over time.
In the beginning, it made perfect froth. After a while, it started to struggle to release the coffee pot from the machine after production. It has not produced proper froth even once! It has been 6 months since the purchase. I sent it for repair and they sent it back saying they couldn't fix it. Pure disappointment, do not buy it. Clearly, the construction cannot support its daily operation.
I nagged my wife for about 2 months about this coffee maker and she got it for me as a New Year's gift. Even she, who doesn't drink Greek coffee, has good things to say about it, like that you don't need to watch over the coffee and you can cook other things at the same time.
If you drink coffee every day when you wake up at 6 to go to work at 8, you can make it in the briki just the way you like it. The machine is for those who drink coffee constantly or don't want to sit over the briki.
What's up with the coffee maker...
In the manual, you will read instructions, proportions, etc... It has a dosing spoon for Greek coffee.
I made coffee with various brands, from Bravo, Lumidis, kupato, cheap, Lidl, loose... the machine makes the same perfect coffee every time. Whether it's with room temperature water or refrigerated water, it will make it quickly.
It doesn't need stirring (I tried it) and it doesn't need mixing with a mixer (I also tried it) because you won't see a difference.
I make coffee directly for a large cup. A little water above the middle, two spoons of coffee, and boom, it's ready while you dress up or go to the bathroom...
The only thing you need to be careful about is not to drop the briki (obviously, I think) because it might crack the bakelite briki. Also, you shouldn't scratch it internally, when after 4-5 coffees, you get some salt (LIKE THE BRIKI GETS) pour a little warm vinegar and it will go away. It DOES NOT go in the dishwasher (what a shame).
With this coffee maker, I have completely switched to Greek coffee at home and I take it to the office every day because I drink a lot of coffee.

Complete failure. The coffee comes out almost tasteless, but that's not the worst part. Here's what happened. The coffee pot in my case was leaking from the bottom right from the start. And when I contacted the official dealership in Kavala, the response I received was that the coffee pot is not covered by warranty, even though it was defective in construction. These people are truly laughable.
Unfortunately, apart from the first one I had bought and was excellent, all the subsequent ones break completely in about 6 months, so if it cost 20 euros, I would say okay, but it's not worth the money
By far the best froth! If you mix the water with the coffee in the frappe container and then place it in the beko device's pot, it's a whole different thing!!! The froth remains until the end!
I knew the coffee maker from cafes where I get coffee and I decided to get it myself. I am very satisfied. It makes coffee quickly and it's very good. Just a tip, when it makes the sound that it's finished, let it sit for 10 seconds before pouring it into the cup.
We bought it in August 2021. From the beginning, it had some problems and a month ago it completely stopped heating. I spoke with the technical department, sent it for warranty, and the response was: It is worn out (sorry for using it for 2 years), and the warranty does not cover the coffee pot.
I can say that it helped me a lot. It took me a little while to get used to it. I am very satisfied. I don't know how long it will last, I have had it for a few months.
The device is made of plastic, has a small and convenient size, and only one power button with a light indicator. With a height of about 24cm and a width of 18cm, it doesn't take up much space and fits comfortably in any kitchen. The cable is 70cm long and could possibly be a bit longer.
The coffee pot has an induction metal bottom that fits into the special slot of the device and locks in place as soon as the power button is pressed. On the top part of the slot, there are sensors for temperature and overflow control.
The device operates in a very simple way: you put water, sugar, and coffee in the coffee pot, place it in the slot, press the button, and let it do its job.
I have been using the Beko BKK 2300 daily for at least 2 years, making at least 2 coffees a day. And while I had concerns about the result in relation to the coffee pot and the quality, it proved me wrong from the first coffee. Okay, from the 3rd or 4th coffee, until I found the exact dosage of coffee and sugar that suits my taste.
The key word in making Greek coffee with the BKK 2300 is Stability. Just like with all automatic devices, the result is always the same as long as you follow the same steps.
The brewing process takes about 2 and a half minutes for a double coffee, a little less than using a gas stove. But the main advantage is not the speed. It's the convenience. There is no risk of spilling the coffee, as the roasting automatically stops when the machine deems it ready. Also, stirring is optional and I didn't find any significant difference between stirred and unstirred coffee.
Although I can't find anything negative to say, I will be honest with the questions I will ask. Does it make better coffee than stovetop brewing? Obviously not, nor does it achieve that with the coffee pot. Does it make better coffee than the coffee pot? If you make good coffee in the coffee pot, no, otherwise yes, and with great ease. And it definitely makes better coffee than electric coffee pots. The closest example is espresso machines with capsules. You won't have the perfect espresso, but you gain convenience, speed, and consistency.
The Beko BKK 2300 Greek coffee machine currently costs around 75-80€, and if we consider the cost of buying the alcohol burners, it starts to pay off from the first year onwards. I don't consider it an expensive device, so if you are a lover of Greek coffee and want ultimate convenience, it's a big yes from me.
It is undoubtedly very practical, I just consider the price quite steep in relation to the quality of construction.
Well. So far it hasn't given me any problems and I've been using it for 6 months now, with semi-professional use. It works exactly as it did when I first got it. However, if you are a fan of Greek coffee, you won't like it because it boils it instead of roasting it. It's helpful for a business because it turns off automatically and you don't need to constantly watch over it while doing other tasks. But for personal use, it's briki after briki. Finally, it would be good to clean it well after each use because stains stick and are not easily removed afterwards. I hope I helped.
I bought it for the first time in 2014, as a gift for a friend. Bought it again now, for myself. In the meantime, it has become much more expensive (from 40.00 euros back then, to 70.00+ euros today). The device is excellent, the coffee comes out hot, with foam in 1-2 minutes, maybe even faster. You have to measure the water, not press the coffee with a spoon, and personally, I don't even stir it. We don't use a metal spoon to avoid damaging the pot. It is now made of plastic with a stainless steel base. The coffee does not smell like plastic, for those who are wondering and hesitant to buy it
The best Greek coffee I have ever had, even better than the ones from cafes. Amazing flavor. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Perfect, I have bought two and they work perfectly for years. If you want a creamy texture, use the right amount of coffee, either for a single or double serving, meaning one or two good spoonfuls of coffee. Stir lightly and boil. If needed, boil the double serving twice. They are easy to clean with a cloth, just unplug and clean well, including the glass that stops the boiling. Overall, a very good choice, I recommend it
Waste of money. Burnt coffee. No cream. It only quickly becomes a watery thing because you can't call it coffee.

This specific coffee maker is for making a decent Greek coffee. It is wrong to compare it with different methods of coffee preparation such as the ibrik. It makes a decent coffee in about 2 minutes without needing to be supervised. Many coffee shops use it for their coffee preparation because the result is better than if they made it with the steam of the espresso machine. And faster than if they made it in the briki, which requires your attention throughout the process. So as a result, you get a decent product.
Very good device. It makes coffee quickly, correctly, and with good foam. However, after 1.5 years of use, unfortunately, it starts to do strange things. Sometimes it doesn't cook it and I have to put it back in, or it makes a weird sound and burns the coffee. Of course, it may be covered by the warranty. But it doesn't stop the device from being defective.
Quite good Greek coffee with foam. Easily believe that it is made in the briki. It never informs you when the coffee is ready, which I consider a great convenience. The only disadvantage is that it takes a little longer to prepare the coffee and requires attention in cleaning.
I am not a fan of Greek coffee, but there is always someone in the company who likes it. This coffee maker literally saved me. I avoided the - dangerous - gas stove. I avoided the kitchen eye, which does not fully touch the briki and is an exaggeration to make two cups of coffee. I avoided the external electric eye that is slow and can be forgotten open (like the kitchen). I avoided constantly checking the level and stirring. I avoided the "did I make the foam or not" dilemma. I avoided the delay in brewing. I avoided washing the blackened and - sometimes - rusted electric eye and the - even worse - scrubbing of the briki. Overall, I avoided the hassle and enjoy the coffee (although I am not a fan as I mentioned before). The process is very simple: you put the coffee in the special briki in the proportions you want and mix it - you place the briki in its position - a white LED light turns on and you hear a sound signal that something is touching the coffee maker - you press the button (which has the white LED) - the LED turns red and the brewing starts - you leave and do whatever you want - a sound signal notifies you that the brewing is finished - the LED turns white again - the coffee maker stops by itself - you serve the coffee from the briki of the coffee maker into a cup - you rinse the briki in the sink without much fuss - that's it, you're saved! The most convenient device in the whole kitchen!
P.S. The foam is wonderful and even better the faster you remove and serve it, also check the instructions which are practically useless since the use of the device is very simple and doesn't require any explanation!
It has saved me! Due to work, I can't be over the briki and I have thrown away many gas burners and spilled coffees! A groundbreaking idea, amazing! With a notification sound when the coffee is ready and a delightful aroma! The only negative is that it is not easy to find this briki separately to have a spare! It is an amazing mechanism!
Unfortunately, the machine is a disappointment. The build quality is terrible and its functionality is even worse.
Most of the time, the coffee comes out burnt or diluted. Many times, you have to put it in 2-3 times for the coffee to be made, while it whistles before the coffee is even ready.
I have never been able to make foam, and cleaning it is a torture with so many photocells it has! For me, the taste and quality of the coffee it produces is unacceptable

I drank Greek coffee from a machine like this (an older version that took more time) and I was satisfied, without having the ability to appreciate the "good coffee". So, because I constantly collected sediment in the briki and saw good reviews, I decided to invest.
It seems that there has been an intervention to speed up the process, which makes the method particularly sensitive to dosages. The result is that I get variable quality coffee every day. It would be great if it had an option for slow roasting, like some very expensive Turkish machines, which do not require any particular technological innovation.
The initial goal, of course, was not to have to worry about collecting sediment, and that was achieved. I would definitely be more satisfied if I had paid less.
