Slightly better than the regular WRC 5. The esport edition includes additional tracks, costumes, and appearances, all the extra packages that have been released, as well as the ability to race online with friends in esports, where the best compete. I also have Dirt Rally and I can say that there are several differences. WRC gives you a more arcade feeling. It is definitely more entertaining and easier than Dirt, which is purely a simulation (you can read my review of Dirt, which probably disappointed many Codemasters fans). In WRC, you don't need as many adjustments to do well in a special stage. It forgives your mistakes, depending on the difficulty level, of course. It gives you more freedom than Dirt, where you lose a lot of time finding the right settings to race properly, as it happens in reality. The graphics are good (although Dirt's are better) and more improved than the previous edition. As for the sound, it is the classic sound of the series. It could be a little more realistic, but that doesn't bother me much. As for the cars, all the official WRC cars are included, as well as the Hyundai prototype, but it definitely does not include cars from previous years like Dirt does. In conclusion, I liked it because with a few adjustments, you can finish a special stage with a flat-out and enjoy it. If you prefer real simulations with all that it entails, choose Dirt. I have both (one as a gift) and I have a lot of fun and enjoy myself with WRC for a few hours. However, when I want to ponder a little, Dirt covers me better. Overall, I slightly prefer WRC out of the two. It's easier and more accessible.
