  I hope I never find out if it will do its job, but according to a 10-year-old product from the same company that I still have, every time there were momentary interruptions or voltage drops, I had no problem. The USB ports are welcome, although not very fast. Now, if lightning strikes, no power strip will save you there, you need a lightning rod T2 on the panel. Very good build quality. Edit: Three years later, the USB ports do not provide good power, I consider it unacceptable for a Belkin product -1 star.
