I have had the mask for 4 years. The photos I have uploaded are after 4 years of daily use during the summers. I bought it because of good reviews and I don't regret it. It smelled a lot at first but then it stopped smelling. I have never washed it with tap water, I have never used toothpaste, yet it looks like new and it hasn't rusted anywhere. Only this year (4th summer of use) it has started to fog up. If you don't mind that the design is from 1950, you will definitely not find a better mask at this price.
Very satisfied! Even though I have a mustache, so the absolute isolation is not created, however, it is nothing like any other mask I have used!
The best mask there is. Even though it feels like being a Minion with one eye. If you don't mind that it's round, then get it with your eyes closed
I used it for 20 days, it seems like a good mask for its price, although it didn't really impress me for some reason. Time will tell how well it will hold up without leaking. However, it doesn't say "Tempered Glass" like in the photo.
The 3 stars I give are because this smell from the rubber doesn't come out even if you wash it in Niagara Falls....!
This product is eurobalco. It has very good visibility! However, it smells very strong and ultimately my son never used it. It also fogs up like all masks.
Awesome mask worth the history it carries! The silicone smells a little bit but it has a perfect fit! Very good field of vision and of course a Greek product.

I have it for about four years... it is very good, it doesn't leak water and with the right liquid it doesn't fog up... it's just a bit mysterious in its tightening.
I have had it for 4 years. I have had 3 of these, all slightly different, pass through my hands. This one I think is the best. (One had a silicone cord, the other 2 had a regular one like this one)
The one with the silicone "cord"... it is indeed more durable, it never breaks... but it is not suitable for anyone with long hair. It only works for short hair because it pulls your hair when you try to put it on. When you try to take it off, your hair often gets tangled in the mask.
***This one HERE, I don't think it has a silicone cord from what it looks like in the photo. So it is perfect for long hair.***
In terms of visibility... it is the best. All the classic masks are useless and water gets in. With this mask, maybe a little water gets in but very little, and you can empty it every 3-5 minutes in just 1 second. You just lift the mask under your nose and the little water falls out. It works perfectly fine for diving without the issue of water getting in, although I can't say it never gets in at all. Compared to the classic masks that are sold everywhere, it is 1000 times better. The classic ones can't even handle a dive, so to speak.
When you get a mask like this... you can NEVER go back to the classic ones, which are always a waste of money.
I also want to mention that a little dog dived with the mask (the one with the silicone cord) and it cut the cord, but you can easily replace it with any cord from another mask.
In terms of adjustment... it is relatively easy once you learn how to do it.
In terms of fogging... it is definitely better than the classic ones, but obviously it still fogs up. That's why every time before I go swimming, I clean the inside with dish soap or toothpaste to prevent fogging.
One of my masks broke the glass because my clever brother heated the glass with a lighter and tried tricks to prevent fogging, and it broke because these masks have a larger surface area.
UPDATE 2023: BEFORE YOU GET IT, MAKE SURE IT'S BALCO AND NOT EUROBALCO.... I bought this specific one and you can't imagine how it smells like rubber... Literally, the whole area where I had the mask smelled (especially when I rinsed it with soap to try to get rid of the smell). Even if you just touch it with your hands, they smell afterwards. And imagine, I was at work the next day without any contact with the mask for almost 24 hours... and I could still smell it. This is not normal at all. If you get the eurobalco mask, every time you go swimming, you will only think about the smell, nothing else, and anyone around you will feel the same. No matter how much you rinse it, it doesn't stop smelling. In fact, if you wet it, that's when the place literally stinks. Those who sell it are scammers. Also, it is not tempered glass as shown in the photos here. And I imagine the metal parts rust. I returned it, and the store told me that balco no longer makes masks, only eurobalco, but I don't know if it's true. Then I got a similar mask from another brand, again with a rubber strap, but it's completely different... the one I got is perfect like all the others I mentioned before.
I recommend silicone instead of rubber so that it doesn't smell for those who are bothered by it... It is one of the best mask choices for both beginners and non-beginners.. No one will regret it and they will have it for a year.
My grandfather bought one in 1980 and it still works perfectly today. The only downside is that if you don't know tricks like using a potato or toothpaste before bathing to rinse it in the sea, it gets foggy because it's made of glass.
The joy of simplicity. An excellent mask that those who know, appreciate. All professionals who work with diving, in carnivals, are professional divers, etc., use this one, obviously they must know something. Those of you who want design and extreme designs will not be satisfied. Those of you who want a cheap, honest mask for your money, get it with your eyes closed.

Very good mask quality!! We were recommended it by a friend who is into diving and fishing, and he was right. We got it for the whole family (2 parents and 2 children, 8 & 10 years old) and it fits everyone.
I bought this specific mask almost a year ago, from a store in Piraeus. I chose the one made of silicone instead of rubber for better quality. Very poor quality. I haven't used it for more than 40 dives. It leaks water relatively easily even though I don't have a mustache or beard. The metal regulators on the right and left (the little iron pieces that adjust how tight the mask will be on the face) have rusted to the point where there is damage to the rubber! The glass fogs up very quickly!! In the photos, everyone writes "tempered glass" in the middle and above the glass. This is what the old Balco masks used to have. The current Eurobalco masks don't have it written because they simply aren't made of tempered glass. I found a genuine Balco mask that belonged to my father, at least 35 years old. The metal parts on the sides are stainless steel. The glass is definitely tempered! The only issue was the rubber strap that adjusts how tight the mask is. It was cut. I replaced it with an imitation Eurobalco strap and it will last as long as it can!! Stay away! There are better options for a little more money!
The best mask. My dad had it 30 years ago and now I have it and I am very happy about it. It is not a coincidence that the company still launches it. And it is also made in Greece. Buy it without a second thought.
