I chose it mainly for its slim profile to fit in my space. It has good construction and a nice warm white color. Plus, the handle of the kettle can be hidden at the back. The plastic smell disappeared with the second rinse of water and vinegar, as stated in the instructions.
Perhaps the worst coffee maker I've ever had. It makes a coffee with a flat, watery taste. You have to put in one and a half times, maybe even double the amount, to have a strong flavor. Unlike an AEG I had before, which suddenly died on the water and had a function for extra taste, this one is now for celebrations.
We bought it twice and both times the jug broke in the same spot.... The first time I thought it was a coincidence because it was hot, but the second time it was cold and I simply placed it on the sink and it broke in the same spot again. Other than that, it's fast, the filter doesn't fold, and it's also suitable for left-handed people.
After wasting money on mediocre coffee makers lately, I decided to get myself a Bosch with something extra (actually, I got it as a replacement through a service for a coffee maker and only paid the difference).
Overall, it makes good coffee, the water doesn't evaporate too much like it does with many coffee makers, it makes the right amount of noise and not at the end, which can be annoying from the tube. If you take the pot off while it's still working, it will drip down where you need to hold it with your left hand, for example, a cloth to catch the drips when you take the pot off with your right hand.
It doesn't have the same quality as the Philips HD7546 Filter Coffee Maker 1000W Silver!
The poor thing lasted for many years, broke and couldn't be fixed.. I bought it back then for under 60 euros.
It produces very hot water, I think it doesn't need so much and a considerable amount of water evaporates. In terms of aroma, the first coffee I bought compared to the izzy milano I had until last year, it has no aroma at all, while with the old coffee maker it was much more aromatic. I will try with another coffee. Otherwise, it doesn't smell like anything plastic, it seems to be well-made and has a nice color, and it doesn't take up much space. In conclusion, I believe it is an average coffee machine (3.5 stars out of 5) for a simple coffee without needing special knowledge.
Compared to the Pyrex SB-310 that I had for about 4-5 years, which probably had a broken heating element, this one is inferior.
Negatives:
Smaller jug
Very fake plastic
Filter not included
On the first use, the coffee overflowed. The reason is that the jug does not have an exact position on the base, so the spring does not press well, resulting in the filter container filling with water faster than it pours into the jug. Unacceptable design. Correction here: Ultimately, the water that falls into the filter is more than the water it can pour into the jug. As a result, it overflows. I had to constantly open and close it to make the coffee fall.
Difficult to clean the base after the coffee spills.
I agree about the neutrality in the taste of the coffee.
Now I read the reviews on the scrubber and I might not have bought it.
In the end, I don't know if I bought Bosch or some Chinese brand.
Final thought: I bought the Pyrex SB-360 again and I have taste and cleanliness once more.
With various, the most miserable and depressing purchase I have ever made! It is not good for anything. The "coffee" it produces is simply water in a light brown color, and no matter how much dosage you put, it still comes out as watery juice, it is undrinkable! It really makes one wonder how such a big failure can happen in such a simple machine with one and only function.
Very good. The only negative thing I would say is that the jug is expensive if it breaks and you only want to buy the jug. With almost the same amount of money, you can buy a new coffee maker.
Fast coffee maker good coffee. Just a little attention is needed where you need to close the container with the coffee and make sure it clicks that it closed and adjusted correctly so that it has the correct flow.
Super price for Bosch with super quality. Solid plastics, nice coffee that comes out quickly. I have never had a coffee maker that prepares it so quickly. It has a capacity for about 6 medium to large-sized cups. The switch that closes the eye after 45' is also useful.
The handle of the jug literally broke on the first day, which makes it useless, because after a phone call, they say they don't have stock of jugs and I have to wait 20 days, and it costs around 20 euros. The coffee maker costs 34 and the jug around 20.
Overall, the communication experience with Bosch is tragic. I really hope you don't have any issues with their products and have to communicate with them over the phone.
I have it in my office .. it hasn't caused me any problem. I find the automatic closing system very helpful... nice color, okay price.. I have had it for 5 months
Good cafeteria, very good construction-material quality, fast, when it reaches the end it makes the familiar noise (but not as loud as most), it retains the aroma. With this jug, which keeps the coffee for less time than the INOX, it does not keep the coffee warm for more than two hours and the solution is if there is an INOX jug or a thermos at home, as soon as the coffee is poured, you put it immediately inside and it keeps it for more than 5 hours.
Makes good coffee. I bought two because my carafes broke. They had the same problem though. It took a long time for the coffee to brew. I added vinegar but nothing.
Unfortunately, the comments about the coffee's aroma are absolutely true. In my opinion, it makes a terrible coffee, just enough to wake you up, without preserving any of the coffee's aroma and flavor. I just received it today and I'm already thinking that as soon as I pay it off, I will exchange it... Unfortunately, a very bad choice and I wonder how those who are satisfied with it are satisfied, but tastes are subjective...
Very good and worth its money. Okay, it's plastic, so it's not the best quality of construction, but if you want a good coffee to be made quickly, for me it's worth it.
It really surprised me how bad coffee it makes. Usually, you can drink good French coffee even from a 10€ coffee maker. This coffee doesn't have any special requirements in terms of handling. On the positive side, the coffee maker is very fast and the container is easy to fill. However, it simply doesn't make coffee. It is a beverage like Arabic coffee, like tea, without aroma, and of course, it is impossible to continue using it.
It is very good so far and incredibly fast! I don't have an opinion on its durability as I have only had it for 1.5 months (daily use up to 2 times a day). The only thing I would like them to have paid attention to is the fastening of the filter container, as it gives me the feeling that over time it will loosen quite a bit and give me difficulty. It would be good for it to be a little more sturdy.
Very good! I have it for almost 4 years with daily use during the winter! It doesn't collect salt like others, and it keeps the coffee warm for a long time!
Value for money.. great capacity.
The only negative is that the switch automatically turns off after a certain time and does not keep the coffee hot for hours, unless you press it again.
A shapeless coffee maker, doesn't take up much space, makes coffee quickly, easy to clean, very good coffee aroma and of course great value for money. I have bought it for both the office and the house.
I have bought 3 of these, even at a higher price in the past. It is the best value for money, durable over time, and makes very good coffee even for the pickiest people. Although I generally like Bosch as a company, here it was worth its money
This specific coffee maker is definitely worth its money. It is fast and functional, preserving the flavors of the coffee. It also keeps the coffee hot for an additional 20 minutes after brewing and automatically shuts off for safety reasons.
Note: Filters that are size 1x4 work better than 1x2.
The worst coffee maker that has passed through my hands!!!! The only good thing is that it is fast... even though I have only had it for 3 months and I think I will throw it away or give it to someone who doesn't know about coffee!!!!!!! The coffee passes so quickly that it doesn't have time to acquire aroma!!!! The heating element releases such hot water that 1/3 of the water is lost - evaporated and it burns the coffee... The coffee has a metallic taste, probably due to the heating elements. I have had much more flavorful coffee from coffee makers that cost 9.90................ and all of this is being said by someone who is obsessed with coffee. Not just a simple passion. I give it 0 stars
