Some will argue that the book is an attack on the pharmaceutical industry, which is true of course. But it's not just that, nor is it a destructive attack. I believe that most of those who work in the field are well-intentioned, after all, there can be no medicine without drugs. Many pharmaceutical companies around the world have come up with amazing innovations in the last fifty years, saving countless lives. However, this does not give companies the right to hide information, mislead doctors, and harm patients.
