For amateur use, perfect. I use it for intercommunication during motorcycle rides. It has satisfactory range for the use I want. I had one and I bought this as a second one.

For the hobbyist or the casual user, it's fine.
In my opinion, it's not suitable for professionals. I wouldn't depend my life on this one...!!!

Good signal, decent range, good construction, it has FM radio, an alarm that you can program to notify the other person you are talking to when something serious happens!
