If you are looking for the ultimate softness and absolute comfort, the neutral Glycerin 21 offers an exceptionally velvety ride thanks to the even softer DNA LOFT v3 shock absorption, as well as a new, more improved upper that provides structure and breathability.
Compared to the Glycerin 20, the 21 has 2 millimeters more of the ultra-soft, nitrogen-infused DNA loft v3 for shock absorption and to maximize softness.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
After two slow (at 6/km) 12-kilometer runs and a 22-kilometer run (at 6.50/km), what I conclude is that the Glycerin21 shoes are soft, absorb shock but do not provide any energy return, they do not help at all to increase pace.
They are definitely shoes for the "next" day of a marathon or when your feet are tired, and you want relaxed recovery runs.
I highly recommend them for those who want them for long walks and posture.
Running, this is the use I make and I wear exclusively sports shoes. I have tried almost all brands in the last 10 years and even their flagships, I have not worn a more comfortable shoe and with a difference.... Comfortable, soft, with proper stable footing, very good ventilation and with great shock absorption.... When I wore them it was like wearing them for years, always Brooks Glycerin 21.. It's a shame I didn't trust the Brooks company earlier!!! They are Marathon shoes, I did a piece of 25 kilometers from the program I do "comfortably" without tiring the foot.!!!!
I bought them mainly because of the plantar fasciitis that has been bothering me for 6-7 months. According to the orthopedist, a good pair of athletic shoes would help me a lot because the previous ones seemed to burden me quite a bit.
My physiotherapist suggested that I try 3 running shoes. The Clifton 9, the Saucony Endorphin Speed 3, and the Brooks Glycerin.
I tried the Clifton 9 and since the other two were not available in my size that day, I bought them. After about half an hour of walking, I started to have intense discomfort (almost pain) in my right arch and it was starting to bother my left one as well.
In the end, I returned them and bought the Brooks Glycerin, which really suited me very well. The insole is very soft but also gives you a boost when walking. Obviously, I haven't run yet, but in everyday life, I have noticed a tremendous difference in comfort and it has helped me a lot with my plantar fasciitis.
Brooks! Whoever has bought Brooks even once, stops dealing with other brands!
• Build quality/materials ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
• Comfort ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
• Everyday use ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
• Size ⭐️⭐️⭐️ needs attention because even though I wear 43.5 in all shoes, I wear 45 in Brooks (Hyperion, Glycerin, Ghost, Trace, Cascadia)
The Glycerin 21 is definitely more advanced than the 20 with shock absorption that will amaze you! Generally, try it before you buy it to make sure about the size and cheers!
Incredible cushioning!!!
