I would give 5 stars but with reservation I give 4 because it is new and I do not know what will happen in the future... I read a review of a lady and I bought it thinking that I would probably waste my money...! The product is not an AC so my requirements were specific! I wanted it to cool... and for the air to be strong! Indeed, with cold water it gives coolness and with the speed at maximum and setting the function to cooler as long as the water is cold... Putting ice makes the air even colder... I tried it (at 37C outside) recently, in an east-facing living room with full sun and windows and it really cooled me all afternoon even though the place was boiling! If I could afford to pay full electricity such a time I would get an AC... but where the electricity has reached is unattainable! With 80W it is perfect!!! The order came immediately and in excellent condition... Somewhere I read down in the comments that the air is not strong... I disagree! The air is strong and with a patent on the right on the upper blades a little hard paper in between (photo) you keep them all open and so you have full air from the upper blades. Of course, it does not cool the house but it cools you individually. At 2 meters with the conditions I wrote it is super-perfect... The negatives are the smell of plastic the first day which is normal because it was new... The height with the wheels is about 60cm, the depth is around 20cm and the width is about 26cm, approximately because it has curves. It is not small! It is quite aesthetically pleasing as a device... Personally, I think it is worth its money and of course its course will show how long it will last! To each his own... as the saying goes!
In the money I bought it, I could have bought a much better product! If I saw it in the showcase, I wouldn't buy it.
Completely useless! It's like throwing your money in the trash! It doesn't cool at all, makes a lot of noise, and additionally creates terrible humidity in the space. Totally wasted money!
"The order does not deliver at all. Contrary to what it claims, "strong cold air volume," it does not produce strong or cold air. If you stick your nose to the vents, you realize that it only blows a little bit of air. And from the noise it produces, you can tell that it is working. No matter what setting I have tried, with or without the ice packs, this thing does nothing but take up space. Please replace it or refund my money. And after a lot of difficulty, they only agreed to check it for possible repair (which was stupid of me) and they wanted to pick it up without any proof of receipt of any kind, they return it to me because they say there is nothing wrong with it. Indeed, it has nothing of what it claims. I lost over 70 euros, my time, and it takes up space. I will come back."
Very good air cooler! Seeing the comments on this and similar products, I have to say that the air cooler is not an air conditioner. It is a fan that passes the air through cold water and gives a feeling of coolness. This particular one does its job very well. I placed it near the bed at night during sleep mode and we slept well without sweating and it didn't bother us at all. I leave the window slightly open to prevent humidity from staying inside. Also, it is not bulky and has a very nice design!
Perhaps one of the most controversial devices for the home.
Purchased after much thought and doubt about whether it does more than just a fan.
Conclusions after the first use:
1) As a ventilation device with remote control, timer, wheels, automatic shutters (right - left), high fan intensity (3 levels), and two programs simulating air intensity with real conditions, YES it's worth the money!!!
2) As an air cooler, it was measured with a thermometer at the output and had a 1-2 degree difference from the ambient temperature.
Therefore, it gives a better sense of coolness than a simple fan.
3) The descriptions given by other reviewers for similar devices, saying that you have to sit next to the device to understand something, may be a bit exaggerated, probably because there is an unintentional comparison with air conditioners that cool you down by 15-20 degrees below room temperature.
4) Indeed, even with ice packs, it is difficult to say that cooling increases, and it is logical because the water evaporation is achieved at a specific temperature. Perhaps the ice packs are offered more for commercial - psychological reasons.
5) Great usefulness during the night (sleep). Anyone who dislikes the air conditioner during nighttime sleep will definitely find a very good solution with the air cooler. At a reasonable distance from the bed (1-2 meters) and at the medium level, always using the "cooler" function and with the water tank full, sleep becomes pleasant without "catches", dry throat, headache, and especially without sweat!!!
Update:
Almost 1 month later, the device works perfectly, very useful on hot nights, quite satisfied.
P.S.: The build quality is quite good for its price, reminiscent of the quality of an economical air conditioner, the touch buttons work perfectly from the start, as well as the remote control.
The manual shutters presented a problem, as they did not stay in a straight position, but were dragged by the force of the air (quite strong flow even at level 1), but over time the issue was resolved.
The Aircooler is essentially a fan that blows cool air, unlike a regular fan that blows warm or hot air when it's very hot.
POSITIVES
This specific Aircooler does blow cool air.
It has a remote control.
NEGATIVES
You can't adjust the air up and down, only left and right. And if you try to adjust it downwards, it doesn't stay in place and falls off, which is annoying and requires a fix to keep it from moving (I've wedged something to keep it from moving, unacceptable).
The ice packs don't last very long (obviously I've tested them with frozen water, not in warm water).
The air it blows is not very strong.
I recommend buying it only if you have ready ice to fill it with and very cold water because it needs to be refilled and have ice at least twice a day.
It's not worth its money, it could have better quality.
At this price, look for something else
Unacceptable product. A fan has better performance. Noisy. Sparks and burnt smell appeared after a week of operation. RETURNED TO THE COMPANY
It's worth every penny, it's comfortable and practical. The ice packs are a plus, giving an extra sense of freshness
