  Very nice fan. We got it for the bedroom. It makes noise like a fan but it doesn't compare to the noise of a 15-year-old fan we have in the living room. It is the sound of the air passing through and not something mechanical like with older fans. I like the remote control it has, which is small and discreet. You need to aim directly at the center for it to catch, but we learned that after a few times. It is beautiful, powerful, and quiet.
