Within 7 months it became write protected and I couldn't find any solution that works, essentially the USB stick got damaged....money wasted.
Cheapness eats quality. I bought it from a local store for 5€. It is recognized as USB3 but it has terrible speed. In the same port, I transferred the same file to an SD card with 10 times the speed. Money wasted.
Well, good evening from the one month or so that I have it, it is very good and has helped me a lot in transferring my files
Bulky, doesn't fit well, it squeezes everything I put in the other compartments (look at the photo), I don't like its design.
Fast in transportation, didn't get too hot, I will put it in a Hub because if I leave it there it creates a problem.
I always use Kingston and they have never let me down. I have USB sticks that are maybe a decade old and they have never betrayed me. As for the size of this particular one, I have no issue, my ports have reasonable distances. For mobile phones and tablets, if there are any that have two ports, I honestly haven't come across them. It is indeed slow and not suitable for professional use that requires speed. For me, who uses them for storage and data transfer on my tablet, they are extremely useful because I have no reason to hurry. Everyone should choose according to their needs.
Maybe one of the worst USBs you can get. Its speed is inconsistent and does not meet what it should have. It is only worth it for songs in the car or for photos if you don't care about the copying speed. Invest your money in something better with an extra 5€
THE REASONS I GAVE IT SUCH A LOW RATING ARE 2: Firstly, its shape! It is so bulky that it presses the USBs in the adjacent ports and it doesn't fit anywhere else... only by itself!!! ONLY THIS! It's like we don't have any other USB device to plug in?!
Secondly, it's not fast... 10mbps for USB 3 is nothing in terms of speed!
The only reason I didn't return it is because it is so cheap that it's not worth the hassle. Its speed is a tragedy. For two folders of about 11GB each, it took 36 minutes for the first one and 43 minutes for the second one. Just don't buy it, it's a waste of money.
It is supposed to be USB 3 generation, transferring files at 15-20MB per second... for some reason, both laptops I tried it on do not recognize it as USB 3!
I bought two because of the low price for the name Kingston! One of them works perfectly. The other one locked up after a week and I can't even format it! I wouldn't buy it again.
Guys, I don't want to give a bad review but I have to say that we deal with photography and their USB stick and we format it from time to time. This kind of thing didn't last even 2 days to keep the PC on, which means it has an issue. I would suggest you invest in something else with your money, even though the price was 14€ and when it arrived, I paid 26.50€. What can I say, I hope you see it and stop the batch and come up with something better. I hope I helped.
For the use I got them, they are fine for their price. (File/Cold Storage)
They record at around 10MiB/s.
Now the durability over time will show.
I bought it for transferring files more and for amateur use. Personally, I really liked it. I transferred 9.5GB in 2 minutes with an average speed of 85MB/s. This personally satisfied me. And I bought two more
Just got it and tested it, not bad at all on usb3 port.
I haven't tried it on 3.2 gen2.
KINGSTON DATATRAVELER EXODIA M 128GB USB 3.2
With a 3 euro USB stick, I didn't have high expectations. It does its job decently for music in the car or small file transfers. I wouldn't recommend it at a different price, but for the 3 euros I paid, I am satisfied
I bought it because of the price... It's painfully slow... A COMPLETE TURTLE... Spend a couple of extra euros and get something better... STAY AWAY...
I don't understand why there are so many complaints about this USB stick. Yes, it is very slow in writing (~8-10 MB/s approximately). But in terms of reading speed (sequential + random), it surpasses the recommended speeds and then some. And in terms of price/GB, you get a durable product that won't fail on you like USB sticks from no-name brands.
Personally, I have bought 6 of them and use them for write once read many purposes (mainly backups) + boot media for Parted Magic and Windows installations, and they don't disappoint at all for this use. If you keep your expectations grounded, it will serve you more than enough. If you need higher writing speeds, get the Silicon Power Blaze B02 or the Sandisk Ultra.
For 2023, it's not the best flash drive in the world. I tried to do a backup of photos and it takes longer than expected. The advertised speeds are definitely indicative. They do not reflect in all file types or various sizes, the actual speed it reaches. It is also cheap, made of full plastic. With the current market and for 3.2 standards, you should get something better.
Really tragic. Even at this price, it's a waste of money. While I had 2 USB 64GB, I decided to buy this one because the others I had were USB 2.0. I was completely fooled, it works like a USB 2.0 and even worse.
Excellent for someone who has free time. Instead of fishing, it can transfer large files. It will occupy his entire day.
A bulky plastic with USB 2 speeds that does not fit nicely in the ports I tried (in case it achieves tolerable speed)
Windows does not open when this USB is plugged in

It's not worth buying. Its speed is not stable and often gets stuck at 0.
Very slow in writing, no comparison to the old Kingston.

It worked a couple of times and then kaput!

Good for its price but a bit slow....

Very good for its price
3.2 means version and necessary speed.

For the price, it is perfect! You don't expect performance from such a basic Kingston series
