The instant water heater is a type of water heater that heats water in real-time. It only heats the water that passes through it at that moment. There is no hot water storage tank. This has many advantages, such as energy savings, since only the water that is used is heated, and longer lifespan, as there is no water tank and no accumulation of salts in the resistance and other components.

It operates with natural gas, and no electrical installation is required.

The instant water heater has an inlet pipe for cold water, which passes through the resistance, heats up, and exits through the hot water outlet pipe. A necessary condition for the initial operation of the instant water heater is that the pressure of the incoming cold water is not too low.

The water temperature is regulated by a thermostat, so it does not exceed a maximum value. The temperatures that the hot water reaches are pre-set so that one can use the hot water directly, without the need for mixing with cold water.
