For an upgrade from the JBL Charge 5, it's just fine; its weight is known, it's not meant for hiking despite the shoulder strap, but it's powerful enough for small parties in open and closed spaces, where the Charge 5 was a bit lacking. A positive feature is the auracast, a functionality that will likely connect speakers of different brands like Sennheiser in the future. Also, it's a plus that a fast charger is included in the package (type-c), although the cable is fixed, so if the connector breaks, you have to toss it. The battery is also a positive aspect as it can be replaced with 2 screws. I consider it the best value for money; at this price point compared to competitors like Marshall, Sonos, etc., you would have to go down in power.
